*Barfing* When Shadow and Ban teleported, they were extremely dizzy. Ban continuously barfed.
"What the heck is the world spinning?" *Barf*
After 5 minutes of resting and continuously barfing, Shadow and Ban recovered, albeit with a pale face. They saw they were in an alley.
"I never thought teleporting could cause a major headache. I never felt so nauseous in my life," Shadow weakly said.
"Yeah, it f*cking was the most uncomfortable feeling I felt in all these years."
After resting for another 10 minutes, Shadow and Ban recovered some of their strength. After that, they went to the market.
"Cities really are a league of their own, don't they?" Ban exclaimed, seeing the huge buildings all around them.
Shadow agreed, comparing it to a village, that the city is like a paradise. "Ban first, we need to find a place of information if this city is a good choice for trading."
Shadow and Ban toured the city looking for a place to get information from. After searching for a whole day, they found a bar.
Shadow ordered some drinks and sat listening to the discussion of the others while
Ban was associating with the drunkards.
"Hey, did you know the son of the city lord of Dragon City fought with the son of the city lord of Sunshine City?"
"Yes, I heard they fought because of the daughter of Flower City."
"Heh, the three of them were geniuses of their respected cities. Blaise Dragonty is the genius of Dragon City, while Ymir Morrester is the genius of Sunshine City."
"Hahaha, but the greatest of the three is Daisy Ross. She isn't only otherworldly beautiful; she is also a great magician too."
"Yeah, even though elves are naturally beautiful and handsome, her beauty is just on another level."
While listening to them, Shadow already had a basic understanding of the surrounding vicinity.
This city is called Sunshine City. There are 2 cities near this city: in the forest is the city of Elves, Flower City, while in the west is the city of Demi-Human, the Dragon City.
The 2 cities interact with each other by trading; the only city that is not trading openly is Flower City.
"Ban, I am going to search for a place to stay." Ban nodded and said, "Shadow, this bar also has a hotel. You can ask the bartender if you can book a room."
Shadow nodded. He went to the bartender and asked for two rooms.
There are 4 rooms that can be rented. The rent is 1 silver coin a week for a person. Breakfast and dinner are included in the rent.
Shadow rented 2 rooms separated by floor. Shadow will rent the 3rd floor, while Ban will stay on the 2nd floor. He paid the bartender 200 copper coins.
After Ban was done talking to the drunkards, he saw Shadow was still waiting for him at the stairs.
"Ban, I want you to associate with as many people as you can during our stay here, and let's pretend to be strangers."
Ban nodded after talking to Ban about the plan. Shadow gave him 1000 copper coins.
"So in your data, which job is like a hunter?"
"It's mercenary; it also has a profession, or you can change your profession just by paying 1 silver coin."
"I'll take the mercenary job; what about you? Which job will you take?"
"I'll be a merchant." Shadow was surprised but nodded at him. He also increased Ban's money to 5,000 coins.
"Buy any basic techniques you find; also buy any exotic beast or any beast that has a grade of good to excellent."
"Also, try to build connections while you are trading. If you are having any trouble, come find me or just send me a message. Tomorrow, I will bring Lou Yan here to be your bodyguard."
"You need to collect more information from the 3 cities. I will give this very crucial mission to you."
Ban nodded and said, "I think you should just bring Sniper. Just let Lou Yan further strengthen the army, and we also need somebody to protect the village."
"Okay, I will bring Sniper now. I will return tomorrow. I will mark the room so that we have easy access to this location. Just knock on my door tomorrow. I'll be returning to the village tonight."
After discussing some more, both of them went to their designated rooms. After Shadow marked the room, he teleported back to the village and returned to the mansion.
He goes to his room and immediately falls to sleep, even though the second time he teleported, he didn't barf, but still he was struck by dizziness.
Morning came
Shadow woke up and started preparing himself. After finishing his daily hygiene, he went to Ban's house.
When he got there, he saw Shelia tending the flowers in their garden.
"Good morning, my love." Shadow sneaked closer and suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Ah!" She let out a startled cry, then looked at Shadow surprisingly.
"I thought you and Ban would be staying in the city for a while," she asked suspiciously.
"Yeah, but we need to bring Sniper and Glutton to help us on our mission."
Shelia had an expression of understanding. She nodded and left. After a few seconds, she returned, bringing Sniper with her. Shadow took Sniper and kissed her goodbye.
Shadow left, bringing Sniper. He went to the military campground, where he called Lou Yan over.
"Lou Yan, you should have known me and Ban were going on a mission."
Lou Yan nodded. He was informed yesterday by Shelia that Shadow and Ban were going to a city.
"While we are not here, please keep training the soldiers and conquering the nearby forces; we are leaving you the responsibility of improving the village."
Lou Yan patted his chest, saying he got it. Shadow left, knowing that Lou Yan would never harm the village.
Shadow teleported back to the bar in his room. He saw Ban inside his room.
"Hahaha!" Ban laughed his pants off when he saw the very dizzy Sniper, while Shadow just felt a little dizzy because he got used to teleporting.
Sniper was like a duck without its head. Sniper was crashing and tumbling from the objects in the room.
After 10 minutes, Sniper recovered and started harassing Ban's hair, laughing at its misery.
"Okay, Ban, return the keys to my room. I will go to the mercenary guild while you should look for goods you will trade."
Both of them left; Shadow went to the mercenary guild, while Ban was going to look for goods to trade.
