She said this fairly loudly, intending to be heard.
Li Haoran's expression stiffened. "Nian Nian, how exactly are you feeling?"
Li Beinian ignored him and leaned back against the headboard. She picked up her phone and dialed Mu Xichen's number.
She was greeted by a mechanical female voice announcing that the phone had been switched off.
Li Beinian couldn't help feeling annoyed. She frowned and said, "Su Su, you should go home. Hailang, help me shut the door."
