"Yay! I'm so happy you accepted!" Antonio exclaimed as he slung his arm around Leo's shoulder in the car.
Leo slapped his hand, "Get your arm off me."
Antonio smiled playfully, "Aw fine, but I bet you would look so cute when you are angry."
"Well then I'm about to get really cute if you don't stop. You're lucky that I even said yes, but I feel like I'm going to regret that decision." Leo closed his eyes and leaned back into the chair.
"Don't worry you won't regret it! It's gonna be fun, you can count on it."
"Hm."
Suddenly a sharp pain hit Leo behind his eyes and ears. He tightly closed his eyes and held his temples in pain as it felt like a sword had just been run through his head. He winced at the pain and slightly hunched over in his seat. But just as fast as it came, the pain was gone instantly. His eyes widened in confusion, 'Why.....did that happen?'
Antonio leaned over with worry, "Hey are you alright? What's wrong!?"
"Don't worry it's fine, probably just need some migraine medicine and I'll be fine," Leo didn't understand what had happened. He's had migraines and even splitting headaches, but none were as strong as this one. It hurt like hell, but also went away without a trace. 'Hm, that was weird.'
"Are you sure you're okay? That looked like it hurt a lot."
"Yeah I'll be fine."
After a couple more minutes, the driver arrived at Antonio's penthouse and the two got out the car. Antonio rushed out of the car and opened the door for Leo and acted cheesy and like Leo was a prince. Leo couldn't help but smile at the funny behavior and said, "Come on you don't have to do that, let's just hurry up already."
"Haha, fine your majesty," he said with a grin on his face.
"Dummy, hurry up."
"Fine fine let's go."
Antonio walked into the building and the staff immediately greeted him. A woman was the first and she said, "Hello welcome back," then her eyes turned to Leo and she asked, "Who is this guest?"
"He's my manager, he agreed to run lines over with me and help me practice on my script."
"Oh, alright then sir," she looked at Leo and outstretched her hand, "Hello, my name is Natalie and I'm one of the customer service members. If you need anything, just hit the buzzer on the intercom and you can easily reach the front desk."
Leo shook her hand, "Thank you."
The two went into the elevator to head up to Antonio's suite. The building was very tall with many floors. Leo walked into the elevator first and stood off next to the side while Antonio pressed the button of the floor fifth from the top.
Leo looked at the floor number and asked, "Wow your place is so high up."
Antonio turned to him, "Yup, perks of being a celebrity. With all the money from the shows we can afford many living accommodations though I only get a place this high up cause it's more quiet."
"Hm? What do you mean?"
"I guess I've always had sensitive ears and my everyday life has a lot of noise so I like to have my house to be quiet. It's relaxing I guess."
Leo leaned against the wall, "I understand. My apartment is usually noisy. I live on the 13th floor which is better than some of the other floors, though it can still get pretty noisy even at night."
As Leo was leaning against the wall Antonio felt so warm. He just wanted to hug him and protect him so much, but he contained himself since he didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable.
"By the way, what are we going to do until nighttime? And why did you tell that woman at the front desk that I was going to help you go over your lines?"
Antonio smiled happily, "Well, I was planning for us to watch a movie together, have some dinner, then go up to the roof for the eclipse. And the reason I told her that lie was because if news that I had my manager come with me home without any specific reason or even rumors would cause news to spread. Which wouldn't be good for the both of us."
"Hm, I guess you're right, but just before you get any ideas this isn't a date. I'm here because you kept annoying me and wouldn't stop," he said coldly.
"I know I know this isn't a date."
Finally the elevator got up Antonio's floor and the two stepped out. There was a hall with a pool all the way at the end and one door on the right and another on the left.
"Someone else lives here to?" Leo asked.
"Yeah, he's another actor and to prove to you that I didn't invite you here thinking this was a date, he'll be joining us on the roof. Once, I told him about my new manager, he wanted to meet you in person and most likely make fun of me."
Antonio opened the door on the right and walked in, "Can you take off your shoes? You can set the over there." He pointed to a small bench to their right.
"Yeah, sure." Leo set down his shoes and when he looked around he was amazed. The apartment was huge and cozy. It had a rustic and cozy feeling to it. There was a large grey couch with a soft and fluffy carpet underneath. The floors were light hardwood and there were marble counters and a large wooden dinner table. The kitchen was huge and had state of the art equipment. One of the walls was made of windows which allowed you to see outside from high up. Leo looked to the left and saw a metal stair case going up to another floor. To the right was what looked like a laundry room next to a bathroom.
"Wow you're place is so cool! Where do those stairs lead to?" He asked as he pointed towards the staircase.
"Those stairs lead up to my room, the main bathroom, and the guest room. Now what movie do you wanna watch!?"
