Bang!
The wooden door was blasted like a paper sail in a storm. With wooden splinters spreading around everywhere, David's huge body entered the room followed by Yang Tao.
They both squinted their eyes as they tried finding out the person in the darkroom only to recognise a while later that a silhouette was visible on the floor motionless. Their hearts started beating loudly in their thoracic cavity as they approached the unmoving body with slow steps and a raging storm in mind.
A while ago a David reached the address he received on his phone from Alexander, worrying he was about to blast off everything but then he controlled himself and slowly remembered the underlying meaning in the message he received.
He was not allowed to start trouble here.
That is what the message was telling him.
He reached one counter and asked for Yang Tao. The girl on the counter was the same as the one who received Alexander and thus this time she didn't even think before calling Yang Tao.
She learnt her lesson that people can be much more than they look. Though the guy in front of her was all sweaty and was looking quite messy, he can be someone with a great background just like the boy from this morning.
As for, if he was not someone important for the boss, that's something for the boss to handle. She just fulfilled her duty, calling him.
Yang Tao received the news and rushed out quite steadily. Though he didn't know who was outside, he was sure that he was someone important and with deep background. After all, he was not well known even in the slaughterhouse.
So if someone is approaching him directly with his name in hand, was either an old friend or an old enemy.
And he was afraid of none.
As he got out he saw back of a well-built man in a soccer jersey of Alliance academy.
"Someone from alliance academy?" He murmured with a frown and then went straight ahead.
"How may I help you, mister?" He said with a smile when he stood beside him. He was from the Joseph family. Whether friends or foe, he greets them with a smile. As for afterwards, it'll depend on the person, whether he'll drink with them with a smile or stab them with a smile.
Life was just like this.
The well-built man turned around and stared at him with calm eyes as if trying to see through him. His eyes were red and his body was all sweaty but his breathing was calm as spring lake.
This surprised Yang Tao and he focused on the man too as if trying to categorize the man. But after a while, a shocked expression appeared on the face of both David and Yang Tao.
They said at once, "Uncle Tao?" "Little Anaconda?"
Apparently, they were acquaintances but that didn't make them excited at all after a moment of surprise. Instead, a flashed passed their eyes and they again spoke out at the same time.
"Core belief of Joseph Family?"
"Core belief of Taylor Family?"
Yang Tao frowned listening to that and answered, "Core belief of Joseph Family is neither too noble nor too heinous. We believe in slaughter for protection."
David heard this and immediately broke out in a smile and answered his part, "Core belief of Taylors is also neither noble nor heinous. We believe in friendship till death, and enmity till the next 7 generations."
This was what was the core belief of both the families and apart from strong and trusted members of the family no one was aware of it.
Yang Tao was a trusted soldier of the Joseph family and David was the next head of the Taylors so it was given that they both know what was the core belief of the family.
And being allies this was what they usually use to confirm the identity of each other when they are in haste and no other source of verification is available. This info was nowhere else and no one knows about it apart from the really trusted people of the families so they chose this method at once.
Yang Tao smiled more brightly when he got the answer. He met David quite a few times in the Joseph mansion and used to teach him some things in his free time. He was half a teacher to David so he was really excited to see him after so many years.
The same was for David. He met his former teacher and this was also the contact person Alexander recommended so he should be pretty safe.
He smiled and asked, "Uncle Tao, where is little fatty? He asked me to come here."
"Little Fatty? Oh, master Alexander? He's in his room." Yang Tao replied and kept on looking at David from head to toe, as an elder looking at the child who has now grown up.
David was relaxed when got to know that Alexander was here. And asked Yang Tao to take him to the room where Alexander was.
And so the couple of teacher and student left and soon reached the room on the first floor. But upon knocking a few times, there didn't receive any response from inside.
Thus this lead to the scene in starting.
