The class ended. Dave and Toni decided to tag along with Mijoo and Daehyun. But Dina and Parl became a part of the group too. They all went to the nearby farm to feed the animals. There were goats, chickens, horses, turkeys, ducks and cows. Mijoo tried to feed the little goats, Dave was with her. She had lettuce and tried to come close to a goat that was standing alone. Slowly tiptoes and holds the lettuce out. The goat started to sniff before it began to eat. Mijoo was enjoying the moment but Dave decided to walk her way and scare the little goat away.
'You scared her! Do you know how hard it is to approach a goat.' Mijoo hit Dave. 'Shoo shoo. Go get your own goat, Dave.' Dave rubbed on the pain. 'But I wanted to feed it with you.' Mijoo sighed. She grabbed his wrist and. 'Be silent and slowly follow me. Don't make bold moves. Okay?' He nodded and smiled at her.
Meanwhile, Daehyun was feeding the bunnies. He had one on his lap and petted it. The bunny did not bother and ate the carrots that Daehyun gave. Dina came in together with Parl. Parl screamed. 'Oh look at these super cute bunny. They are like snowflakes.' And the bunnies left the scene as fast as they could. 'The snowflakes melded Parl.' Daehyun had sarcasme in his voice. But the one on his lap didn't run away. The bunny was busy eating. Although Daehyun felt that the little bunny shuddered for a moment when Parl screamed, but the bunny couldn't leave the delicious food.
'What's so cute about bunnies. They stink. They look stupid and only know how to eat.' Dina scoffed.
'No one told you to come here Dina. If you don't like it, just go. Try to enjoy it, don't make me mad.' Parl scolded her. She it not the sharpest tool in the shed but did know how to speak her mind in times like this. 'Parl is right, Dina. You can go feed other animals. If not. You can just go home. Don't give out negative thoughts. Animals can feel them.' Daehyun said right after Parl. Dina put her arms over each other and looked away. 'I didn't say I hate bunnies to death. Why are you two attacking me out of nowhere? It's just that they are not cute. I find horses cuter. So I'm going over there.' She walked away. 'Gosh, this girl is so irritating sometimes.' Parl waved her hand at Dina.
Toni was feeding the horses. Dina murmured under her breath. 'I hate it when they treat me as an outcast. They think they know the best. I'll show them. Especially Mijoo. She is hideous. A witch.' And Toni heard that. He came out and surprised Dina. 'Oh, hey Dina. You here to feed the horses?' He pretended not to have heard her. But Dina suspected him. So Toni played stupid.
They fed other animals before they left the farm. Toni did not forget to report what he heard Dina say, to Daehyun. They separated. Dave and Toni took the subway while Parl and Dina walked to the bus stop. Mijoo pretend that she forgot a book and went back to school. Daehyun was waiting for her at a distance. Once the others left, they met up. Daehyun brought Mijoo to his house. Only the little sister was at home. She was playing with her Nintendo.
'Welcome to my house.' He almost kissed Mjjoo, but Melis jumped out of nowhere. 'Hey!' She run to her brother but a girl was standing next him. 'Who is she?' She asked in curiosity.
'Hi, you must be the little sister. I'm Mijoo. We once talked over the phone long time ago.' Melis remembered. 'Ah. The morning call. I remember.' She looked at Daehyun. 'I'm hungry, I want to eat.' Daehyun looked lost. He didn't know anything other than boiling eggs.
'What do you like to eat?' Mijoo asked Melis. She thought about it and. 'I like vegetables and eggs.'
Mijoo nodded her head. 'Mind if I use the kitchen?' Daehyun pointed out the kitchen to her. 'Not at all.'
Mijoo looked for a frying pan and eggs. She took the vegetables out of the refrigerator and cut them in small pieces. The eggs went into the frying pan and the vegetables followed. Than put the slices of bread on the top and let them bake. Once the eggs where baked fully, she flipped the eggs with vegetables and the bread, sprinkled salt and pepper on it. She folded the eggs with vegetables between the sliced bread and made a toast. Melis was sitting waiting for her food. Once Mijoo was done. She placed the toast on the board and gave it to Melis, who was mesmerized by the toast. She took a bite and loved it. 'This is so good. Where did you learn this?'
Now Daehyun wants one too. 'Can I have one of that toast too?' Daehyun asked in a cute voice. Melis hit him under the table. 'Stop that. Eww.' Mijoo laughed. She made Daehyun one too. The siblings ate another round.
The parents came home. The mother found the siblings eat the toast while Mijoo was washing the dishes. The mother was perplexed. 'Who is this lovely lady?' If looks could kill someone. The siblings would have died at that spot.
Mijoo stopped washing and dried her hands. She bowed politely and introduced herself. The siblings stopped eating. 'Hello, my name is Mijoo. I'm Daehyun's classmate. We had to work on a project so I followed him.' The mother locked eyes with Daehyun. He averted his eyes. Melis jumped in. 'I was hungry and sister Mijoo cooked for me. But brother wanted to order food I hate that. And sister mijoo offered her help. Do you want a bite, mommy? It's so yummy.' Melis half lied her way into the save zone. 'Thank you sweetheart, you can eat it. Mijoo, does your mother know that you are here?' Mijoo nodded her head. 'She knows, yes. She will come and pick me up around 5 pm, if Melis's mother agrees.' The mother had a warm smile on her face. 'Of course you can stay.'
Now it's Daehyun's turn. 'Sorry mom. I forgot to tell you that Mijoo was coming.' He shrunk. 'It's okay sweetie. We'll talk later.' Her tone was dark. Daehyun smiled in an awkward way.
