After prince Aziel fainted, a figure wrapped in Black cloak appeared from the trees. From afar one couldn't determine how the said person looked physically but one thing which determined her power was her feet walking on the air as if she was walking on the ground. The witch came forward in the clearing and looked around. It was a clear plot surrounded by thick trunks of black trees in a circular form.
In the middle of the the clearing, there was a large hut and at it's left side a bonfire was dissipated leaving faint smoke climb up the sky. The sun had completely gone down the west and atmosphere was turning chilly and creepy. A hand crept out of the cloak and stayed in the air as if something was placed on it. Seconds later, a blue flame lit up at the palm which, Verena directed towards the extinguished bonfire. In an instant the blown out fire lit up without any new wood pieces and illuminated the clearing in a red-orange light.
She then looked at the Stalwart prince who was lying on the ground and slowly removed her hood. A stream of hair flowed down at her waist but that wasn't shocking at all. What would actually shock anyone is her hair's exotic color. From her head to shoulders, her hair looked faint blue. A soft pastel color. In a world where humans have only two colors for hair and eyes i.e. brown and black, Verena had a pastel blue colored hair. But that could be justified if someone wanted to. However the other two colors were truly shocking as well. From her shoulders to one feet down they looked pastel purple and from there onwards, light green. All along the length these three colors too had strong and light shades indicating overlapping of the colors. If anyone from the kingdoms out there saw her hair, they would immediately scream their lungs out and faint. She was truly a witch because no human would be given such colored hair.
In fact, did such colors even existed in substances? No. The colors in Verena's hair are too soft and light, such colors are never seen in the three kingdoms despite their darker selves being used to color clothes.
After letting her hair fall down, Verena clapped three times lightly and a crooked figure appeared from the dark of trees. It looked like a demon with twisted backbone and slowly approached her. Without any eye contact or conversation the figure moved to her back and held her hair. He then started to comb them with his long black nails eventually parting them in three parts and making a long braid. After he's finished, he folded the braid to settle it on her head in the form of a bun and placed a hair pin to keep it in place. Verena gestured him to leave and the demon left with such fast pace as if he stayed a little longer he'll be eaten up alive.
She didn't care about the demon or prince and instead clapped three times again. This time a cage was thrown around the unconscious prince. It looked like a giant animal's bones and had an awful smile. Her lips hooked upwards when she stretched her right hand in the air and towards the bone cage. A black mist, similar to the one which earlier surrounded Stalwart soldiers and prince, flowed out from her palm towards the cage. Next moment, it was surrounded with black mist and looked even more frightening.
"It's good now." a low voice landed in the eerie forest from and the witch then proceeded towards inside the hut.
"It'll be fun to see you trying to escape dear Prince." She chuckled darkly and disappeared behind the black cloth.
