"Professors, here is what we found on great Hellaboros mountain" said a blue clad dragon knight named Earl while he turn on hologram device showing a huge crystal like door inside the cave that been said appears after a landslide. That crystal is brown in colour and covered with gold ancient text, and beside it's left and right crystal door have two huge adult dragons like statue positioned like guard looking down at the entrance path.
Hmmmm... this look like ancient dragons text from few hundreds year ago. "This is seem like a dragon lair of golden earthen dragon king! Or now maybe already become that dragon tomb. The text seem telling us about this dragon's will. Some text quite blurred but still readable. We need to proper study this before to understand what is written here." I just say what my analysis of that place.
"Would you like to come with us, Professor Quinn? We will give 20 percents of what we get there to the academy. There is many mechanical trap around and few scripts to translate so we can safely go in there, and so far we can only reach until here" while he pointing at the black stone mark at the middle of the hologram. The inside cave is very spacious suitable proportions with the door and the black stone seem look like near to the door but for us humans the lengths to reach the door still quiet far.
Here in this world we mostly all human have a natural affinity with natural elements such as water, fire, earth, wood, metal, wind, thunder and one special affinity is dragon affinity.
Dragon naturally have all natural affinity and as they grow up they will choose their speciality base on their talents or interests and for human to have said having dragon affinity is they can detect at least two or multiple natural elements, as to used or apply the natural element is depending on the person effort since to learn and comprehend then apply those natural elements really need a lot of effort and preserve.
Dragon tend to choose their knight who have more natural affinity because most of the dragon feel more kinship towards people who just like them and they 'the baby dragon' usually will become more excellent on the elements as same type of their knight.
If the owner of this lair have human as his knight, I believe his knight natural affinities at least are earth and metal affinity who is known as the strongest defense knight and surely this lair have many world precious item in it. Since blacksmith weapon and jewelry must have this affinity. 'Ah... my mind imagine something so wild. Academy resources appeared in my mind. But let's not putting so much hope'
"I am honestly very happy for this offer but can I request to share that dragon lair too after raiding the lair finished? I believe many young dragons will benefit from this lair since knowledge as dragon is not something that we human can benefited alone." As my suggestion been heard, i saw many dragon wore satisfied expression vibe around them
"Seemed choosing to work with you is our right choice" voiced a young boy beside Sir Earl. He must be Sir Earl's young dragon. Any dragon that can shift their look to their choice shape is a young dragon that already past their beginner primal stages.
Most of Dragon have 5 stages to go through in their life. Egg, baby or primal stage, teenage stage, adult stage and elder stage. Each of their life stage have 3 tier that is beginner, middle and peak tier.
To past through a tier and stage they will have to surpass their bloodline test and once they past they will gain many benefits from the test but if fail they will not gain anything and their possible age becomes shortened that is why each dragon life span is different and some have very long life span compared to other dragon.
Many dragon like stayed as dragon form in their private spaces and change their form as other organism when they in public. Dragon is arrogant creatures but not a creature who like unnecessary attention. After so long living with human some of their nature also change and most obvious is they don't mind turn in human form when they interacting with human societies.
In this huge hall there is a few Dragons and around 12 people can be seen as they are few other professors and dragon knight. We continue our discussion till midnight and conclusion is that 4 professors will follow them to that site with our own project assistant we have and few students to let them learn more about dragons.
