December 14th, 1923
Bonjour, my name is Anne Bolynn, today is my birthday, well..... that's what the nuns told me anyway. The problem is that I'm an orphan, and every December 14th, Sister Alice would always tell me the same story about how I got here and the story goes like this: "It was a cold and stormy night in Bordeux, specifically in December 23rd 1910, and I heard a knock on the frong door. When I opened the door there was just a crying baby in a basket, the baby was beautiful with the most golden hair attached to the basket that reads 'Her name is Anne Bolynn, born on December 14th 1910, she was born in Paris, but then move to Bordeux. Her father died in the war against Germany, and her mother is an alcoholic. Although her family is rich, I can't risk a baby's life in the hands of an alcoholic mother. So I took her into this convent so please take care of her, for she will be a great woman and maybe the kindest woman ever and she will change history.' At first I took a gla slight glance to the baby and I took her in. Straight away she was baptized to be a Catholic. But when she was baptized me and the other nuns felt hope and joy, for the Pastor, he felt light moving through him. Although still a baby she brought so many miracles with her, once a poor and dirty convent, became the most prestigious one in France. How? It turns out that the local cathedral and the Notré Dam donated about $1.000.000. How and why they gave it to us I don't know, but it gave us everything we needed from supply to infastructure. After many days later we gave you your baptized name, 'Mary Anne Bolynn." And that's how I got the nick name of Mary Anne.
Life in this particular convent is not so bad, and the nuns are really nice to me, for example there's Sister Margaret who teaches me English, Sister Kim who teaches me Korean, Sister Clair who teaches me Spanish, and Sister Alice who teaches me French, others like Sister Farley who teaches me mathand Fathe Tom who teaches first communion. Most of the children don't like, but I do have a best friend and her name is Kelly, she really loves playing with dolls, we play everyday with them. But, life here can also get boring too, although the nuns try to make everything fun, everytime they're gone I feel bored and sometimes even get cranky.
Some girls like Elara likes to bully me a lot, although the nuns always try to keep them at bay, they will always find the right time to tease me. Once, sister Jane threatend Elara that she'll hand her to the Germans, and her reaction was spectacular, she cried and pleaded to not take her away, she can't even sleep that night, it was very amusing to me how a simple threat can break her like that, imagine it being true.
Anyway, this was my gift from Sister Clair, she said that if I write enough, it could be a book. Anyway enough for today, Bonne Nuit
