Just as he was about to proceed to the the academy a loud horn rang throughout the city. Minutes later an army was marching through the city easily numbers in the millions. YingLei turned towards the guard leader and asked him
"Where do this army come from?"
The leader replied
"Most likely they were dispatched by an Earl."
YingLei asked again
"How high is a Earl in terms of nobility? Where are is this army going to? Whats the position required to lead this level of force?"
The leader replied
"Earl is the 3rd highest nobility just before duke and king, beyond the king is royalty.
This army marching direction seemed to be where our empire are battling the orcs,goblins,kabold,trolls etc. The position to lead army this size one must be a Major General commanding 5 Lieutenant General at the same time leading his own troops."
YingLei was shocked to know that aside from human and demonic beast there are other races and it seem that even generals are divided into ranks and have their own category so he asked
"Does that mean there are demons and angels too? How many general ranks are there?"
The leader replied
"Yes, and just like the orcs they are also our enemy. The amount of general rank that I am unsure but if you want to know when you meet your father you can ask him."
YingLei truly shocked to know this and now he wondered how strong must one be to content with those races and to his surprise despite the leader strength he had no way of knowing the ranking of general at the same curious about his father identity as even the Leader had no idea of his father knew YingLei asked
"Whats the lowest cultivation of this soldiers? Judging by your strength you must be a general right?"
The Leader replied
"Mostly in the palace realm only some have stepped into the void realm. Yes, I am a general to be precise I am a general and if you are confuse the general rank that i know of goes from Vice-General, Brigadier General, Field General, Lieutenant General, Major General , General, Colonel General and General of the Army are all considered generals. Vice-Marshal, Field Marshal, Marshal Commander, Marshal Lord, Marshal of the Army, Ruling Marshal, Vice-Generalissimo and Generalissimo."
Shocked and awe as he looked as the soldiers and their repective commanders marching to war. For the spectators they were wondering if god has descended as this soldiers have an aura as it they are impenetrable and those aure felt like nothing can contaminate it.
After 2 hours or so, every soldiers have left the city. The citizens were cheering wonder what those soldiers are going to do. Unbeknowning to any of them other than the family head of Nangong , the baron and Zuo Yan the humans are being pushed back so badly that the Earls have to move his/her soldiers and some of the higher nobilities are suspecting that in a few years even the kings have to personally fight. Every nobles are starting to seclude themselve and passing their position to the younger generation trying to break through to protect the human race from being enslave once again or worst extinction.
At the same time, YingLei is walking towards the school wondering what the school will teach and constantly thinking of leading and forming his own army of shadows. Once he was at the entrance he saw Zuo Yan who smiled to him and said
"Follow me i will guide you to your class"
Waking YingLei up from his fantasy. After awhile YingLei reacted by nodding his head and follow Zuo Yan. Once YingLei reached the class he saw and old man teaching the classes about the utility of different weapons. The old man saw Zuo Yan bowed then he looked at YingLei and said
"Hello, I am your teacher you can call me, Mr. WuMing."
YingLei replied politely
"Hello, I am YingLei please to meet you."
Wuming brought YingLei into the class everyone stared at YingLei wondering why a student join mid term as the school always had a policy is that all student can only join at start of term. Wuming turned to YingLei whispered to him
"Introduce yourself."
YingLei told them his name and find a seat to seat.
Today YingLei learned the advantage and weakness of different weapons and had a few sparring session as part of lesson to train their fighting instinct. each student will fight 10 times and only YingLei had an undefeated record as he was train by his harsh father. YingLei was feeling down cause his father kept telling him that this people are all fighting maniac but they so weak that it hardly was worth calling it practice. While the other students was thinking the same thing
'YingLei is a monster'
as he won every fight with ease.
While walking home, YingLei was thinking about going to the arena to fight as the arena seem to have plenty of experience fighters while being distracted by his own thoughts he arrived at the hotel unknowingly. He looked around and asked the receptionist
"Where are the people following went to?"
The receptionist replied
"They left and booked out at noon and asked me to pass this letter to you."
YingLei nodded and went to his room to read the letter.

We have finished our duty by escorting you to might city safely. Even though the time we spent were short and we spoke less to each other it was a nice journey for us as we were able to relaxed. Hope we will meet soon considered that we are not dead hahahaha. Wish you have a fun learning journey in the academy. Learn to explore even the empire is bigger than you think incase you wondering how big the city you are at which is manage by a baron there are more than 30 thousand baron so you should have gist how big an empire is.

'so thats his name LeiShen.'
The same thing rountine happen for 5 months and YingLei finally broke through to 4th stage of body refining and officially 9 years old. Today YingLei decided he will go to the library and read books on strategy as remembered 5 months ago how those general look like when they lead the army and now YingLei dream is to be a general feared by all his enemies and yet dream for all children to one day reach his level. After spending several days in and out of the library and playing several strategy games with elderly YingLei had a gist of how to use strategy while at the same find strategy to be interesting as a psycho path he enjoying toying with humans and thus the reason he enjoy strategy.
