Elektra was busy typing her pile of reports when her communicator beeped an incoming call. The woman glanced at her communicator screen for a moment before answering the call and canceling her plan to turn off the video call.
"Lunch time, El!" Kalan said curtly when he saw Elektra still in his study.
Elektra stopped the action of her fingers dancing on her office computer, then turned her attention back to her communicator when she noticed that Kalan was staring at her intently.
"Soon. I'm typing a report, it'll be done soon."
"Is your report more important than the health of you and our baby?"
"Alright, stubborn President. I'm going to shut down my computer and have lunch after this. Satisfied?"
"You are stubborn, madam!"
"You!! Go! Just do your job. Get as much money as possible so that none of my descendants will fall into poverty later."
Kalan's face softened and smiled cheerfully.
