"No one would dare to do anything to Karina." Klea noticed that her voice sounded just as panicked as the expression on Elektra's face. But there was nothing he could do now, other than try to get Elektra back to the way it was. The woman had already lost her child once, and losing her child again made Klea fear that her best friend's depression level would be worse than last time.
Elektra is no longer crying, that's the first thing to be grateful for. But what we can't be grateful for is that now they are on their way to catch up with Kalan's car. The woman had intended to go alone earlier—but with Arga and Klea's efforts, they were able to minimize the risk and make Elektra sit comfortably in the passenger seat. Maybe at least Kalan will lower the intensity of his anger over the results of their hard work on this one.
