"It has been too long Kazue, have you been well?" Aveline greeted with a faint smile.
"Naturally, those ancient fools can't afford to treat me too shabbily" Lady Yamano replied nonchalantly.
"You on the other hand, seem to be living a peaceful stress free life." She added.
"Naturally, those ancient fools can't afford to disturb my peace." Aveline replied her in the same format.
Lady Yamano's face twisted a bit before regaining her composure.
"I envy you quite a lot, but that doesn't mean much to say now. I was in town and decided to come visit to catch up." Lady Yamano relaxed on the chair with an indifferent air like someone who felt fully at home.
Souma had to knead the bridge of his nose in exasperation at how this distinguished lady acted. She didn't act like someone of her status at all!
"Let me get you something to drink then." Aveline stood up like it was no problem and headed to the kitchen.
"Oh, is there anything you want young man?" she turned around just before she left and asked Souma with a smile.
He nervously adjusted his glasses as he answered with a faint stutter.
"N-not at all ma'am, I'm okay."
"Well if you say so then"
She disappeared into the kitchen.
"Have you been caught by her charm? You realize she is a generation above you right? Or you prefer older women?"
Souma was a bit startled as he was caught staring at where Aveline had last stood.
"W-who said anything about been charmed. It is nothing of the sort, lady Yamano!"
He refuted strongly!
"Sigh! There is nothing to feel ashamed of Souma-san." Lady Yamano sighed as she relaxed herself deeper into the sofa.
"You wouldn't be the first man, and I honestly doubt you would be the last."
"Who do you think that woman is?" Hina asked animatedly as she skipped into Reo's room behind him.
"Who knows, none of my business." Reo answered with a yawn as he sat at his table and switched on his laptop.
There were three large transparent screens on the wall facing the table.
Once the laptop booted, he opened up a few things and with casual swipes of his hand on the laptop screen, sent some things to be displayed on the three screens.
One screen held the blueprints and all his research on a glove he was making.
After experiencing the powers of a mage in game, he was fascinated by what he could do and was eager to see how much he could replicate in the real world.
The first thing he decided to work on was naturally a shock glove to imitate the effects of the lightning blast spell.
He felt it was more practical to have than something that could shoot balls of fire. As for replicating the earth pillar spell, Reo didn't want to think of it.
As a shock glove wasn't anything particularly new, he was easily able to research on it and was able to come up with a working blueprint in a few days.
The second screen held the blueprints of his modified hoverboard including all the new adjustments he had made to it.
As he had made a promise to Feng to have it out, he had been working on it on his spare time. As for helping out a criminal organization, Reo didn't also think much of it.
Although he and Feng had a sort of love-hate relationship. Their relationship went back quite a bit and he had benefited from Feng countless times before so the complications made him decide to look over it.
As long as Feng didn't touch his people, he naturally had no reason to interfere with him. Thinking about it was an unnecessary stress!
The last screen held something that held a bit more interest to him and apparently to Hina also as her eyes perked up with excitement when she saw it.
"Are these golem designs?" she asked with enthusiasm.
The screen were filled with countless designs Reo had made for golems he could possibly make in the future.
Although Reo was naturally not a very motivated person, he was the sort of person who got obsessed over something that caught his interest.
Ever since he got the Immortal sculptor sub-class, his ambitions had been wild and he couldn't help fantasizing about the possibilities.
Reo was a broad minded person that had immense love and appreciation for fantasy themes. The countless possibilities of what he could achieve with the ability to make golems filled him with exhilaration!
His tiny smiley demon was just something he had done in the spur of the moment to beat the class change quest.
Now that he had the class fully and had access to the immortal's sculpting techniques and skills, the only thing he was lacking was a peaceful environment.
He had been on the run ever since he left the village of Laron and no place seemed to be safe for him as long as he was still in the kingdom of Gorm.
The blood moon had descended and the wild was more dangerous than ever, he also couldn't afford to stay in any town or city for long.
He had to at least find a way to leave the kingdom first so he could settle down and let his imagination run wild.
But since he couldn't do that now, he decided to be making blueprints in the real world for main time. When the time came that he was free, he could directly start trying to sculpt something out.
'Maybe once I reach Aysver, I should stay a month or so if the war isn't too serious. Myra doesn't seem to have a simple background. Maybe her father is a noble or something? Surely a peaceful environment should be a cheap request in return for bringing back his daughter?'
He had these thoughts in his mind before replying Hina.
"Of course! These are all golems I want to make in the future, such a wonderful class can't waste can it?"
Reo nodded approvingly as he stared at the last screen.
There were different types of golems drawn out by him with some measurements on each.
Apart from the traditional type looking golem, there were quite a few peculiar once as well.
Some looked very humanoid while some were modeled after animals. There was one that looked like a larger form of the small smiley face demon with even deadlier looking claws.
One looked like a four legged best built for speed, it was sleek and majestic and was modelled after a horse.
Another one looked like a heavily built giant and the measurement made it out to be 20 meters tall!
Hina looked at all the designs with awe in her eyes as she nodded in approvement.
Perhaps influenced by her elder brother, Hina was as much as a fantasy freak as Reo was.
"This is so cool!" she squealed!
"I know right!" Reo answered back.
"I never thought you had this much imagination big bro!"
"Hey sis, why are you throwing hidden blows?"
"This is actually so cool! I can't wait to join the game, you must make them all and show me!"
"Hahaha! Of course! Once you join, I will pick you up so we can go on adventures together!"
"But some of these measurements are not quite right, I thought you were a nerd big bro?"
"Hey sis, you are trying to take low blows again?"
But Hina was actually serious this time, she reached out for the screen and tapped on the image of a particular golem.
This one actually had wings and was meant to fly. The golem was made to even resemble a dragon, just to show how ambitious Reo was.
"These measurements are totally off. The wingspan is definitely too small, it won't carry the weight of something so big no matter which material you use to make it. And why isn't there a joint here? How can it move like this?"
Hina quickly made a few adjustments here and there.
"Ah! And this one right here!"
She brought up another golem.
"It would be slow of you use this kind of thing, this is basic biology big bro! why didn't you do it like this?"
Reo easily remembered that Hina was someone with significant attainments in medicine despite she had just entered high school.
Although his mother only just stayed at home nowadays and did nothing. He knew that when he was younger, she was some top notch person in the medical field just that he didn't know where.
His mother was very quiet about things that happened before the accident where their father died.
Although their father was dead, Reo and Hina were never bothered that much as they didn't have much of an impression on him, only Reo had some idea and took after his father's love for tinkering with things.
Hina on the other hand was a mummy's girl and clutched tight to their mother's legs. Because of this, she grew to love the art of biology and medicine too.
Reo smiled with a bit of pride as he watched his sister adjust his measurements that he had made with plenty sleepless nights and effort.
As she said, he might be a genius in some things but he really couldn't beat her in other things.
"Do you get this part?" she finally said as she looked at him.
Instead of replying, he pulled up another chair for her to sit down.
"Settle down sis." He said as he wiped away what was on the two previous screens and filled it with the golem designs.
"It seems we have a lot of work to do."
