Chapter 14 - Chapter 11: Hola a la nueva entrada en Colonel Gray

"There is no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved: But at the same time, love can tear your life apart." None of the girls knew what was going to transpire during the three years of high school. There goes a remarkable statement that all friendships fracture in high school, but each character has a diverse narrative.

As they entered their homeroom 10 B, they had an awkward encounter with a cantankerous, solid old Indian man in front of them. His eyes narrowed as the four girls approached him. It merely made them afraid. The teacher was staring at Olivia for some reason, but before he could make it evident that he had some old connection with her, he asked furiously, "Who are you? Cartoons from a video game?" Sarah, Mavis, and Pauline stared at each other; breaking their eye contact from his mustache full of lice. Whereas, Olivia and the teacher were still staring at each other in the eye, unmistakably having something to say to one another.

Olivia stammered, "G-g-good m-morning s-s-ir. This is our homeroom and--" Mavis inserted, "And we are students, not cartoons!" The instructor glared at her and departed from the room. Pauline said, "That's odd. But he's not the weirdest teacher I've ever seen."

Suddenly, a familiar face enters the room. It was none other than Aiden! Sarah turned around and caught him smiling at her. She also grinned as a response and blushed. Before he could spot it, she turned back to her companions. Mavis observed everything and said sinisterly, "You guys went to the prom together. Are you guys a thing or no?" Sarah smirked and answered, "I still really like him, but unfortunately, we're not official yet." Olivia and Pauline said with an evil grin, "Oooh.... official! Huh?" and they high-fived each other.

After the school bell rang for the classes to commence, there was a massive dramatic entrance. The door opened wide like the wind, and a tall, dark figure entered the room, There was white light, so bright, that everyone, including the four girls, was obliged to cover their eyes. When the light faded, they set their arms down to see who was their new fancy classmate. They witnessed a tall masculine guy with dark hair and brown eyes. His shoulders were broad, and his body was well maintained. Moreover, his jawline was remarkably expertly constructed. His physical features were so breathtaking that all girls fancied him and started drooling at the mere sight of him.

He approached the four girls with a wide grin and introduced himself, "Hey gals, I'm THE VINCENT SANCHEZ. Do you ever feel that something great is going to happen? I can feel that way right now!" The girls stared at him until Mavis spoke, "Hey there hot stuff, beefcake or whateves... flirting on the first day of school? You must be really desperate!" Olivia and Pauline tried to hold back their laughter. Olivia plainly yelled, "PAULINE! Could you help me with this math stuff." Pauline understood the sarcastic statement and replied, "Yeah, sure." And just like that, both of them smoothly made their exit out of the awkward encounter.

Vincent noticed Sarah's blue eyes, and he asked as his eyes softened as his gaze fell on her, "And you are...?" Sarah extended her hand with a wide grin and replied, "Love your confidence! I'm Sarah Sanchez!" Before Vincent could react to her response, the homeroom teacher strolled in the class with determination. His introduction was nothing like the students expected. Olivia whispered to her three companions, "You're gonna need to watch what happens next very carefully." Sarah whispered back, "Why? You know this guy?" Olivia just prevailed inaudible, ignoring Sarah's question.

The teacher said, "Good morning, class! I'm Dr. Deepak Kesari, but all of you will call me as Sir Dr. DK! All of you will treat my physics class as an army base. Respect and discipline is the key here! If any of you move when I demand you not to, you're gonna get it from me! Understand?!" Olivia whispered to herself, "Typical." And the students spent the rest of their day with fear from this instructor. High school wasn't off to a great start. No one knew what these three years had to offer them.
