They were sitting in the coffee shop. It's around five in the evening and they were famished. Cleaning a graveyard sure worked up an appetite!
Well, Shirley was hungry she has skipped breakfast, and knowing what day is today she was sure that Jane would have skipped too. Although Jane resisted the idea of eating out as she was not feeling hungry, Shirley dragged her to the nearest one.
Shirley had tried to small talk but her friend did not say anything except for hmm and few nods. She was getting nowhere and then suddenly she was hit by inspiration. So she asked aloud while they waited for someone to bring their order.
