It was a long and arduous journey but completely worth it. The night view was amazing and Shirley could not wait to see how her surroundings looked in the broad daylight. All of them were escorted to their respected resting place by Drake. Shirley was amazed to see the interior of her room. It was the perfect blend of stone and wood and other antiques.
She loved it.
Coincidently, Drake's room was adjacent to hers. She has noticed it when Drake escorted her to her room. Next, he bid good night and went to his room. She did not think much about it but unbeknown she was happy with this arrangement.
Shirley was worn out. In spite of the lingering fatigue she felt, Shirley had an unknown excitement bubbling in her heart. She started to ponder why that would be and Drake's face flashed in front of her eyes.
She was startled by her thoughts and immediately shook her head to get out of the funk.
