CHAPTER 19
GROUP
Louise
While walking on the hallway I saw my friends walking ahead of me talking with a lot of things that's why they never look at my direction. I thought of surprising them so I walked gently towards them. When, I'm at their back then I covered the eyes of Jenny and Miks using my bare hands then I looked to the boys to give them a sign to keep quite. "Waaaahhhh! Who's this? I'm going to swear you that you're going to be dead once we see you" they scream in unison. Our friends are laughing so hard on what the two are saying so I removed my hands on their eyes. I hide immediately on Kris back because I know that they will search who did that to them.
"Who is she? Did you guys saw her? Where did she go? Tell us!" Jenny said while looking around. "Hahahahahaha" they laughed so loud that's why Miks glared at them. "Why are guys laughing? What's funny, huh? Maybe, one of you is the one who did that to us" Miks said with a scrutinizing gaze at them. "We won't tell you anything, guys" Kev said while grinning at them. They look on the floor to see where am I hiding that's why, I made sure that I hide seamlessly. "I know, it's you Lou. That's why they didn't bother to tell where do you hide. Hey, come out on your hiding place" Jenny said that's why I look at her direction to know if she is looking at our direction then I saw her still looking around.
"But, where is she? Where did she hide? She scared us so badly" Miks said and pouted. I came out from his back and give them a peace sign. "I'm sorry, guys. I didn't mean to scare you" I said and bow my head. "Were just kidding you and we are not really scared because we know that we are with our friends besides we know that you are the one who wants us to startle" Miks said while grinning at me.
"What's that?" Arch asked while looking at the paper bags that I'm holding with a crease on his forehead. "Oh, yeah before I forgot so here's the muffins for you guys" I said and hand them the paper bag. I give to Kris the another paper bag which he accepted immediately. "You are so unfair, Lou. Why is he always solo with his pastry?" Miks asked with a brow raise. "It's my thank you gift to him for what he gave yesterday" I said and smile shyly.
"If I were you Lou, I won't give him a lot coz he is so selfish. He doesn't want to share his cookies even though our baby brother saw the cookies in jar and asked if he can have some. Then he didn't give our baby brother even a cookie. So I went to his room to look for it and I can't saw it anymore because he hides it for God knows where" Miks said and make a face to his brother. "That's why, if I were you I won't give him any pastries anymore coz he's selfish" Gav said and pout at me.
The bell rang as a sign that the class will start in any minute from now so we are on hurry to reach our room immediately. Gav doesn't allow me to run so I won't bump on the students who's running so fast to reach their room soon. When we reached our room there are a lot of students inside the room. After a while our professor went in inside room. "Okay, we will have a group work that's why before I came here I already do a group list. The surnames the I will call are the groupmates" the prof said seriously.
"Fuentes, Cruz, Morales, Choi, Perez, at Sy, Group 1"
I hope that Gav and I will be groupmate coz he's the only whose close to me. It's good that his surname is not called yet.
"Sison, Fernandez, Lee, Gonzales, Sanchez, at Hernandez, Group 2"
Almost all of us are called already yet our surnames are still not called. There were only 3 groups left to be called so I'm quite really nervous coz there is a little chance that we will be groupmate. Actually, I'm used to having groupmates that were not close to me yet the feeling is different if you have a groupmate that is close to you.
"Castanier, Park, Dela Cruz, Martinez, Garcia, at Madrigal, Group 10"
I'm thankful that we are groupmates so it won't be so awkward working with them and now, I know that I won't be out of place. In every group, you should be thankful if you have a groupmate that is a grade conscious so you have a helping hand in doing the group task. No offense but most of the groupmates in a group aren't helping doing the group task.
We have a group meeting later on the garden of the university to talk what should we do. Then, the lunch time came so my friends fetch me again in my room so we can have a lunch together. Besides our professor always dismissed us late. While we are walking in the hallway to go to the cafeteria Gav broke the silence. "Lou, is it okay if our group task in biology will be going to do in your home?" he asked me. "Oh, sorry but my family we will back home that time. How about in your house?" I asked him back.
"Yes, our study and library room are available to be use. The question is, are you allowed to go out?" he asked that's why I look at him. "Yes, I'm allowed to go out if it is about school works. But, if I can't come with you guys I just chat you so I can work on my part at home" I said and smile shyly.
The day past by so fast so we are here now at the garden for the meeting. While my friends are seating near our table waiting for us. Earlier, I called tay to inform him that the I can't go home early because we have a group meeting. I just said that I will text him if were done so he can fetch me. "There are a lot of figures to draw. Who among you are good at arts?" I asked them. "I will be the one to do that part" Joseph answered so I just look at him and give him a nod. Then, I divided our group task to our groupmates so they can study for it and seek for information so when the weekend comes it will be easier to all of us to finish it.
We also decided that Gav and I will be the one to revise it and also, we will do the introductory and the last part of the task. The meeting ended at seven in the evening and our friends waited for us. They stay with me outside the gate of the university to wait for tay. The guard doesn't allow the drivers to enter the school at nighttime as a protocol of the university. So, I'm so thankful that tay arrived immediately.
