Chapter 5 - Academy is hell 1

Stellar Academy, the most prestigious academy on the continent. It sits on the heart of the capital and directly managed under the rule of the palace of Faron Empire.

It has a three layered circular wall that divides the school premises to the General academic area, Military studies facility and administrative officials rooms.

Being an academy sponsored by the

Empire it is a dream study place for nobles all over the Empire. But the academy is not only opened for nobles but for commoners as well. It is a decree signed by the Emperor Wilhelm Rigris III to not discriminate talents from non noble.

But mostly of the commoners are sons and daughters of merchants or business owners. Because the tuition fee to the school is ridiculously high. The general public will not afford it, unless you are a talent holder then an exam will be held and if passed the palace will shoulder the fee.

Talent holders are those people who excels in swords, magic, or have unique class and affinity, regardless of their status they will be assessed by the administrators.

This kind of ruling why the Faron Empire keeps it glorious achievements. Because they value the power more that its status.

One of the best example is the Empire's fourth sword, Trisha Oliver, which is a commoner and a war orphan from the other country that was taken by the Oliver Family, one of the strong noble bloodline of the Empire.

She was enrolled in the academy as a sponsored student because of her uniquely affinity to space which is under the dark attribute. After graduating she become known as the bloody devil of the war, and garnered enough merits to become the adoptive daughter of Oliver family.

Meanwhile, Isabel Rigris is a student of General Academic. Which is a course that doesn't involve fighting. It is focused on literature, history, mathematics, and politics.

This is common to those people who are born without mana affinity like her, and it is mainly seen to commoners. Commoners are born without mana sensitivity, they cannot feel nor see mana. Mana to them is an unknown sensation.

That's why the existence of Isabel having the prestige of Rigris as something unbelievable to the students.

This made the school for Isabel as hell.

Those students who oftenly subject to nobles' look of disgust and arrogant behavior, they vent their frustration to Isabel. This made their ego lesser hurt and a sense of superiority are being restored.

After weeks of resting Isabel finally return to her school.
