Outside Aiden Nathalia, along with the grim reaper Camilla who posed as a lawyer could be seen waiting for Detective Rogers.
As soon as the trio saw the other party walking out of his office, Aiden approached him right away.
This time, however, the detective greeted them with a warm smile. A big contrast to the scowling face that he was always sporting when Aiden first met him.
The detective was the one who initiated the conversation. He nodded his head towards the three to show his kind gesture.
"I'm sorry and thank you for everything."
He said simply, to which Aiden responded with the same level of energy.
"My apology as well for being suspicious of you even for a while."
Aiden also nodded his head as a response to the other party's kind gesture.
"Not at all. I have no excuse about Alyanna's case."
The detective replied with a downcasted expression.
