Due to the abrupt change in the temperature in the surrounding environment which was, as a result, put Detective Rogers in the state of discomfort, the taught of killing himself momentarily left his mind.
He immediately looked at his office' thermostat hoping to regulate the temperature inside the room, only to find out that his air conditioner was just using the normal setting.
"Err??? What is wrong with this thermostat? Did it broke???"
Yet before the detective could even further inspect the thing, out of nowhere, a strong gust of wind blew in his office and this managed to knock something from his display.
The entire situation left the detective in a state of bafflement for a few seconds because he had no idea where the wind could possibly come from. If his memory was not failing him yet, he clearly remembered that he made it sure that all of the windows in his office were closed that morning, so he wondered where the wind was coming.
