"Are you not going too far??? Nothing but a nobody comes to a detective's home to investigate???? You got some nerves, dude."
Detective Rogers said while eyeing Aiden up and down as though he was deliberately looking down at the other party.
"That is because I believed that you are the one who went too far to Ms. Alyanna who disappeared."
Aiden insinuated but hearing his response only made the detective more aggressive than he already was. He pulled Aiden with its collar and talked to him face to face, close enough that Aiden could almost swear that he could already smell the other party's breath which had a heavy smell of alcohol in it.
"What do you know about anything to say things like that?!!! If I see you messing around one more time. I won't leave you alone."
Detective Rogers spat those threats word by word through his gritted teeth.
"What are you so afraid of, Sire???"
