At some point, Aiden somewhat understood what the officer was trying to tell him. The officer was just basically trying to explain the behavior of his friend hoping that by doing so, the other party would not end up being misunderstood by others because of his attitude.
But at the same time, Aiden also could not help but feel that Detective Roger's attitude was not something that could be easily justified by the word 'heartbroken' either.
As much as possible, Aiden no longer wanted to get himself involved anymore with anything that had to do with this rude Detective Roger. Yet for some reason, his gut feeling was telling him that there was something more to it than what it may seem on the surface.
At first, he did not pay the news from the officer much of his attention, but after a while, weird realization dawned on Aiden, and his expression could not help but turn serious this time around.
