"Hmmm... Well, there is no easy way to get rid of a wandering soul once it got attached to you. They would be likely to live off you, just like a parasite. They would suck all the energy out of their prey which may lead to the health deterioration of its victim. The only way to end it was to either help them get to their afterlife or get them back to their physical body."
Nathalia pondered before answering Aiden's question for she wanted to give her husband a precise answer in the simplest yet in a most efficient way.
Since she knew that Aiden might have a hard time comprehending everything at one go.
After all, the topic was not something that Aiden would usually encounter in his normal life.
When Nathalia was done with her explanation, she gave Aiden a quick side glance and it was then that she realized that the other party seemed to be deep in thought as if the matter regarding wandering souls deeply concerned him
So in an attempt to cheer him up, Nathalia added,
"Don't worry that much about the wandering souls. Because unless you are not that bored as to open up a conversation with the likes of them, they won't be able to bother you."
But contrary to what she intended Aiden's expression only sunk further the more she spoke and he even started to break into a cold sweat!
In the end, Aiden decided to tell Nathalia what exactly happened and why he was bothered.
"Well, apparently... I guess I am one of those bored people you were referring to..."
He said with a bitter smile.
