Chereads / Married to the Queen of Darkness / Chapter 57 - THE IMPATIENT NATHALIA

Chapter 57 - THE IMPATIENT NATHALIA

Miguel was unsure himself but for some reason, when he heard the voice called his name, it felt so familiar.

It almost sounded like the same voice he imagined Samara would have if she only happened to be capable of speech.

So when he heard the seemingly familiar voice that he had been dying to hear for years all this time, he immediately lifted his gaze.

But disappointment soon clouded his face when he did not saw the owner of the voice that he was expecting.

Because who met his gaze instead was the familiar face of the strange guy whom he met this morning.

"Miggy..."

The familiar voice of Samara called out again and this time, Aiden even walked towards Miguel to approach him and helped him up.

"It's me."

The same sweet voice of Samara came out from Aiden's mouth.

"NO! Whatever trick or sorcery you are playing, it won't work with me! I knew Samara has been mute since birth so there is no way she could speak. Let alone say she managed to utter a word after her death."

Miguel said forcefully out from his gritted teeth.

But it seemed more like that those words he just uttered were more meant to convince himself rather than anyone else.

But instead of being offended, Samara just smiled back at him and replied softly,

"I don't need a tongue to speak my mind now, Miguel. I can speak to you straight from my soul."

For some unexplainable reason, Miguel eventually felt compelled to believe those words.

So in speed as fast as lightning, Miguel's attitude suddenly changed.

"Samara???"

He said in an inquiring tone before he took a step forward, a little hesitant.

He just really could not believe it himself why any of this was happening.

The other party was clearly the same man whom he met this morning.

But at the same time, he also gave off the same feeling that Miguel only felt when he was with Samara.

That was why despite the situation being inconceivable feat by itself, he still found himself wanting to believe the odds.

"Miggy."

Samara once again called out Miguel's name endearingly. The same way that she just did a couple of minutes ago.

"Seriously??!!! Are you two just going to call each other's names like that?? Don't tell me that you borrowed my husband's body just to call his name repeatedly, do you?"

Nathalia said impatiently on the side before she threw a glare at Samara.

If her eyes could only shoot daggers, then Samara might be a double dead now.

Watching her husband being all lovey-dovey and all with another man was already weird itself.

Let alone say hear them called each other names endearingly like a broken record.

But if one would look at a different perspective in the story, the action of the reunited lovers was just what to be expected from them.

Face with such unexpected and hard to come by opportunity to talk with her past lover whom she unwillingly left after her tragic death, Samara obviously did not know what to say.

The same thing goes to Miguel too.

There were simply countless things that he would like to tell to Samara once they finally met again.

But now that he finally got a chance to talk at her, he found himself unable to process his thoughts.

He could not help but felt that all those words that he was dying to say suddenly got stuck at the back of his throat.

"I just want to remind you, Samara, that you guys don't have forever to waste, lest you forget. Your time is ticking. So if I were you, I would better do what has to be done and get it over as soon as possible. So we could now all start moving forward."

Nathalia urged them again impatiently.

Samara knew that what Nathalia said was true so without wasting any more of her precious limited time, she spoke her mind.

"Miggy, I just want you to be happy. I don't want to see you live in agony day by day just because of me. Stop blaming yourself, it was never your fault. You have to move on and continue to live your life, even without me on your side. My memories of you would soon vanish in my afterlife and I would be happy there.  So before I leave, I wanted to make sure that you would be okay here. I also want you to be happy. Please let us all move on. We have to let go of each other. You have to let me go, now."

Samara who was at Aiden's body right now said with a smile. But her smile did not reach her eyes which made her smile looked rather sad instead.

But on the other hand, hearing the familiar voice of Samara giving him a proper farewell this time was somehow able to make Miguel felt as if a huge boulder was lifted off his chest
