As Daydra exited the volcano he sees sunrise and a large forest that stretches as far as his eyes could see at the end of the slope of the volcano, 'Wow this is beautiful.'
'Hmm, that makes sense, I guess I should sneak down.'
Daydra starts his journey down the volcano, while going down he meets various beasts on the way and had to sneak past them. Codex had informed him that most animals that live on the volcano are reptilian and also that he gained the stealth as well, he also came across many glowing orange rocks which were rocks naturally imbued with the fire element, Codex recommended that he should get better control on his element so he could consume them and boost his cultivation speed otherwise it could backfire from not controlling the energy well enough.
'Huh? Sweet! what happens when it reaches 100%.'
'Hmmm, then can stop telling me what percentage it is and instead tell me when it reaches 100% and evolves'
'Now that I'm finally at the bottom I should try and find some prey to eat and find shelter.'
Daydra then started the hunt, he is using his sneak skill to the fullest right now sneaking through many bushes and trying to smell the stench of an animal.
Daydra also started to use this skill to find his prey, after 20 minutes he came across what appeared to be a bunny rabbit but it was the size of a big child, he decided that with a sneak attack he could defeat this rabbit but before that he must observe his target for the right time to strike.
'I'll ignore that for now as I can tell it's not that powerful plus it's leaving weak spots everywhere, not even covering the neck, huh? how did I know that? Well right now isn't the time to be guessing, lets attack.'
daydra then snuck through the pushes very close to the rabbit almost a meter, then he strikes at its exposed neck the rips it out with his mouth. The rabbit stay still from shock then starts to slowly fall over then it passes out and then after a few minutes it dies. He then drags it towards the volcano and digs a hole big enough to drag the rabbit through, Daydra expands the tunnel at the end to make a burrow.
While he is eating the rabbit he starts talking to Codex, 'Hey Codex can you show me what I look likeI know that I have scales and that I walk on all fours but that about it'
Then displayed in front of him is a hologram of himself, he is a small draconic like lizard who is 3/4 the size of the rabbit with black scale with some red outlines, his posture is more like that of an athletic dog though. 'Cool, hey Codex what beasts species do I belong to.'
'I guess that makes sense'
'How do I cultivate'
Daydra decided now would be a good time to cultivate, he was told by Codex that he should focus on moving the fire element into the body and then circulate it in his blood but his mind must be in a state of extreme focus but it will be easier as he progresses in his cultivation.
After around 30 minutes of trying to cultivate he finally gets into the proper focused state and starts to drag the fire elements into his bloodstream which he did with relative ease as he is living inside the side of a volcano, as he circulated the element he could feel his body growing stronger and stronger, becoming resistant against fire and also slowly making his control over the fire element easier which in-turn makes the circulation faster and this performed a cycle. When 9 hours pass his focus starts to wane after the amount of mental energy it takes to keep it, then finally he awakens again then he says 'status.'
