When Emerald returned to her human form and lost her mermaid tail, she immediately decided to go back to her family. She was in her birthday suit. Fortunately, it was dark and she can still recall the direction to their home.
Naked and feeling cold, Emerald hurriedly walk to their house. After ten minutes of walking, she reached their front gate and pressed the buzzer. In just a short while, her mother called and asked who is outside. She answered shivering, "Emerald", so her mom hurriedly opened the gate and embraced her.
Upon seeing Emerald naked, her mom hugged her tight and led her to her room to get dressed first. When she has dressed already, they both went to the living room where her father and younger brother are busy watching basketball. It's Emerald's first time to meet her brother since she was taken into the sea before he was even conceived.
Emerald's father was shocked yet overjoyed upon seeing his beloved daughter so he enveloped her in a tight embrace and only let go after a long while. Then he said, "This is Quartz, your little brother."
"Hi, big sister!" Quartz happily replied. Emerald hugged him and then they had a group hug. After, her mother accompanied Emerald to the dining room and served her with chicken tinola soup.
