Chapter 16 - Need of comfort.

She really felt like crying. Though she was born and brought up in this same town, she was fully thinking about Victor. She could not stop crying. If people see her they might think she is being forced to go to her hometown for manslaughter. Her heart pained every time when she remembered that picture and that seductive voice she heard from Victor's phone. She felt even more down when she thought she has to go back to her house and act as if she was living normally.

Half an hour before her arrival, she called her father to inform her train timing and went to refresh herself. She has decided not to show her usual dull face to her parents and others. She wants to look better so that they will not object her to go back to her work. Because she had a sense at the back of her mind that something is not right and her parents might force her to stay back in their home town.

She made up her mind, she is not going to let that cheater mess up her mind. This week is for her. She is going to forget about him and enjoy her vacation to the fullest. When she landed she actually looked better than herself a day before. Even her father can see that she is somewhat looking better than how she was in their house. Maybe it was a wise decision to send her out to the world. She should look better for the upcoming event as well.

On the way they did not converse much but her father asked her about her basic questions such as how is life in the city, friends, job, or even if she is happy. Even if she felt weird at first but felt a little better, she is in need of some comforting words.

When she reached her house her mother was waiting for her at the door and she was engulfed in a tight hug as soon as she went to her mother. She was feeling light now. The next day is her birthday. She was too tired after traveling for 10 hours so she slept immediately after taking a shower, without even knowing a bomb being fixed for her outside her room by her family.
