If you consider disgorging on the sea an activity, I think our adventure continues beyond uneventful.
The boat only picks up the pace of the waves, but the sea remains calm. The air drops when it is almost sundown.
The sky bathe an aureate hue with a florid complexion of the sun, making it a majestic sight to see.
The world only filled with beautiful things to see and learn, but Hero and I cramp on the center of the boat, chilled from the cold.
"Let's start paddling with our hands or we'll be freezing here in the middle of the ocean," Hero suggests. I nod my head and move to the port side.
Although the wind is cold, the water is warm. We continue to work our way in silence, and with each passing second, my eyes slowly droop from this tedious work and I give a big yawn, my hands almost playing with the water.
I think I my eyes are playing tricks with me but I definitely see a white creature from deep below. I strain my eyes to look clearly at it but I almost leap when Hero yells in joy. "Wahoo!"
"What do you scream so sudden for?!" I exclaim.
"Ali, a ship!" Hero points southeast where a big ship is sailing smoothly towards the direction we takes.
The ship is a three squared-rigged masts caravel. It has a gently sloping bow with a huge smiley-face on it, and a raised area on the stern. The ship has a touch of light colors and a huge painting of the same smiley-face is casted on the front sail with two guns behind it. It looks like another travelers of the sea.
"It's a huge ship!" I exclaim. "So cool!"
Hero stands up and waves his hands in the air. "Hey! Help us!" he yells.
But it seems impossible for them to spot our tiny boat when surprisingly, the caravel starts steering their ship towards our direction. I huff a loud breath and gives a toothy smile. I can't wait to board that ship! Hero gives a sigh of relief. Hero and I are both drained from the recent happenings.
"I hope they can give us a share of food," Hero mumbles.
"And water if it's not too much to ask," I reply. And a comfortable sleep without bothering of the cold and the possibility of capsizing. Also, my body feels clammy, a little bath won't hurt.
When the caravel glides on the water beside us, some of the ship's crew helps us mount their ship, leaving our boat behind.
Up on deck, the crew looks like a bunch of thugs with weird taste of clothing. Their eyes study us standing on the wide deck, wielding their swords. There are also cannons stations on both sides as I travel my eyes around.
"Thank you for your hospitality," I start. "Bah! I'm super hungry from our adventure. Mind giving us spare of foods?" I smile to the bald person standing before the crowd. He looks like the captain of this ship, crossing his arms and regarding me with a sharp gaze. He has a bulk stature with a tattoo of the same smiley-face on his right shoulder. But he doesn't seem well for giving small talk.
"You mistook my commander, kid," a charming voice says from the top of the mast. I look up and try to find the owner of the voice but look away almost immediately when the light from the setting sun blinds me.
"Who are you?" I ask, covering my eyes and squinting them at the top of the mast.
"I am the captain of this pirate ship, of course," he replies coolly. So, that big guy isn't the captain after all. But wait, what does he mean?
"A pirate?" I voice.
"Yes," he responds.
A scrawny young man walks towards us. "What do we do with this two kids, captain?" he asks. He's wearing a sleeveless one-piece coverall and a red sweater that doesn't suit well with his long face and crooked teeth.
"Of course, we will best accommodate our guests," the captain enunciates. "Now, allow me to introduce myself," he adds. That cause some of the crews to stare up to the top of the mast with a look of pure anticipation, and some of them are muttering indistinctly.
The wind feels strong when a brave cry erupts from the entire ship.
"Woah! What's happening?" I ask.
"Hear my name!" he yells. The person jumps off the mast, flipping in mid-air, and lands majestically on the deck of the caravel. "I AM JOJO BINKY THE PIRATE!"
"Wait a minute." I can't believe my eyes when it lands on the self-proclaimed captain of the ship.
"CUTE BINKY!" he yells and pose like a super cute kitten.
"That's the Captain's cute introduction!" yells a crew. The ship fills with cheers while the Captain bows his head in courtesy.
"Eh? Who are you?" I ask and tilt my head to the side. That's the captain?
"Huh?" The little man stares right back at me dumbfounded.
"What is that? A dwarf?" Hero asks and moves to my side.
I look at Hero sideways. "A human?"
Hero crosses his arm while the other holds his chin and study the Captain. "A little creature?"
"More like a small human?" I try. At that, the entire crew gasps, their jaws almost dropping to the floor.
"INSOLENCE! This two kids are impudent!" The little man screams in indignation while the entire crew is immobilized. "I've never meet a kid so honest and bold. Oh, dear help me, I think I'll faint," the little man says.
The crews gather around the little man when he stumbles and falls flamboyantly. "Help the Captain! READY CODE 13!" The whole crew grows in alarm, but Hero and I both stand on the side of the ship, looking completely bewildered of the situation.
"What's happening?" I ask.
"No idea." Hero shrugs.
"Did we say something wrong?"
"I guess," he mumbles and looks back on the chaos.
The Binky man slumps on the ground and reach a hand on the sky. "The sky is calling for me. I don't think I have much time," he stammers dramatically. "It's time for you to select the next deserving captain. I have fun traveling with you guys."
"Boss," the scrawny guy slumps down to the little man's side.
"Where's the remedy?!" someone shouts. Remedy? What exactly is going on, I wonder.
Another crew slams the door from inside the cabin and holds out his right arm. "The special remedy!" he yells.
"Baby bottle?!" I exclaim. And it's a pink big baby bottle!
"What's he doing with that?" asks Hero. "Don't tell me..." he trails off.
While completely immobilize, we watch as the person holding a big baby bottle with milk gives it to the little man, and suck it down almost immediately like a big baby, considering his appearance.
After drinking the last drop, he gives a delightful sigh and stare right back to us. "Well, we have a pair of interesting little kids," he says and stands up, throwing the bottle to the side.
He is an old little human almost look like a fifth grader with his height. His hair is a shade of orange like an upside-down cone and has a long nose. He study us with his watery eyes and walks to us in bubbly pace.
"I'm surprised. Almost all of the kids despise me, but..." he trails off, wiping an invisible tear on his cheek.
"Now let me introduce again. I'm Jojo Binky of the Binky Pirates. The Captain of this grand ship. Nice to be of your acquaintance guests from the east!" he says, extending his left arm when he bow.
"You really are the captain?!" I exclaim. Now, this adventure will going to be interesting, I can't wait.
