Scarlet didn't know much about Ishid, apart from his name and the fact that he had once been imprisoned. The circumstances surrounding their initial encounter remained a mystery, but Scarlet was patient. Time would reveal the answers. She only hoped that permitting this fight wouldn't lead her to regret the decision she'd made.
The tension between Eireen and Ishid was palpable as they assessed each other with their gazes.
"Since I requested this, I will determine how the test will proceed," Eireen declared, rolling up her sleeves. "The test is simple: we will engage in a hand-to-hand combat, and as your superior, I will take a defensive stance." She said, explaining the test. "Your task is to push me out of the fighting circle using your wit and strength. If you succeed, you pass."
Ishid nodded. "Sounds straightforward. What's the catch?" he asked, making Eireen grin.
