A boy woke up from his sleep, with a look of confusion on his face and was inspecting his surroundings. He turned his head left and right as if looking for something.

After a couple of minutes, he stretched out his hands and placed his palm near his face. He had looked like he has seen a ghost.

His eyes bulged and it almost looked like they would pop out of his sockets. His body trembled and with a shove of his hand he removed the blanket on him, it looked like e was inspecting his body.

He was wearing a surgical gown, clearly indicating that he was in a hospital. He tried to stand up on his feet but, it looked like he was struggling.

"KNOCK"

A sound was heard from the door and a person completely covered in full-body gear entered the room and looked at the boy.

The boy looked at this person with a lot of curiosity.

After a couple of minutes, the person in the full-body suit started trembling and quickly ran out of the door shouting in an unknown language.

The boy then started inspecting the room and found silverware on the table near him. He took the silverware and placed things that looked like fruits on the table and tilted the plate around, he saw his reflection.

He started touching his face as if looking at it for the first time in ages. The boy had black hair, a sharp nose, and eyebrows with a small scar over his left eye, a pair of golden eyes, and a slightly brown complexion.

He had a skinny face almost like a malnourished kid. As he was inspecting himself the door opened again and 2 people walked in both wearing a full-body suit and were discussing something as they closed the door.

It was difficult to see their faces and very difficult to understand the language they were speaking.

One of them pointed at the boy and looked at the other person and said something, the other person nodded his head and slowly walked up to the boy and took out a small box from some ware.

It looked like a thick brick with a light screen; he stretched out the box and started moving it from the head to toe of the boy.

Looking at this the boy was initially nervous and flinched; it looked like he would jump on the person if his body allowed it.

Looking at the kid acting nervous, the other person near the door walked up to the kid and said something. Immediately after listening to the strange sound, the boy passed out, it looked like he got knocked out.

"Philip, did you find anything?" said the person who just knocked the boy to sleep.

"Nope, James he is 100% human. I have not found any traces of the symbiotic or other species DNA in him" said Phillip.

"We have to report this to the commander," said James as he stretched out his hand and pulled out a small almost as big as a marble ball from his glove.

"Commander, Specimen-1185 is alive and is 100% human," said James

["Bring him to the lab and check his bone age, where his home starfield is by extract all his memory"] said a voice from the ball.

Receiving his instructions the 2 of them looked at the boy, one with curiosity and the other with sympathy. Then James clapped his hand, immediately the bed on which the boy was on vibrated and turned into a capsule enclosing him secure to the bed.

Phillip gestured his hand as if asking the capsule to move and immediately after that Phillip moved outside the room and the capsule slowly hovered mid-air and started following behind him.

James stayed in the room for a couple of seconds and said something to the now empty room. Immediately the room started glowing and a strange set of patterns started appearing on the floor, walls, and even the sealing.

After James left the room, all the symbols lit up and started shooting fire as if incinerating something invisible. After a few minutes, the fire stopped and James took out the brick-like device and started scanning the area.

"Commander, No symbiotic species observed in the vicinity," said James into the ball.

["Call Doctor Paul and the 1st person contact the lab and have them tested, calibrate all the life sensing sensors on board. Investigate how a living specimen was reported as a dead specimen? If there was any protocol breach during the investigation call for immediate termination"] said the commander.

James nodded his head and went out of the room.

Phillip took the capsule into a room filled with robotic arms and a huge tank filled with blue liquid.

"Doctor Adam kindly attends to this specimen. It is the commander's order and it's on high priority" said Phillip looking toward a particular room on it said "Patient Ward".

"Your commander has made my life miserable; I'm already busy curing these 100 patients and now a new one. Is he going to kill me by making me overwork" said a mechanical voice from behind the door?

A man who looked like a half-robot and half-human (a cyborg) walked out of the room. He had his top exposed showing off his human muscles and the lower half made of mechanical or robotic legs, he was having a red glowing right eye.

"Doctor Adam, it is not regarding a treatment but a lab test for specimen-118"

"Oh... Is it with the dead body found on the asteroid that we crashed into" said Adam and he took a glance at the capsule behind Phillip?

As soon as he saw the boy he exclaimed.

"The boy is alive," said the doctor with a solemn look in his robotic and human eye.

Phillip nodded his head vigorously.

"Quickly place the boy, in the quantum computer"

After hearing this Phillip nodded his head and said a few words, the capsule turned into a hovering bed again and the robotic hands from the sealing moved the boy into the liquid tank.

This tank was called a quantum computer-HALe~ as it calculated and simulated a very large spectrum of human tissues and brain cells of a half-dead specimen, making the specimen believe it's normal and provides detailed data on that specimen.

After the boy was placed into the fluid tank, a huge light screen was projected in front of Adam and Phillip.

"Hm... not a bad living specimen. Buts it's very odd to find such a healthy specimen in the open space and in that a human without an ounce of body modification and protection? Was there a planet nearby?"

"No, we are currently in the field of the great boundary beyond which is the absolute void"

"Do you suspect it's a host-related symbiotic using this body as a carrier? I highly doubt that even a gamma level civilization in symbiosis failed to make a dead into a living…. It is the higher level civilizations hey hardly come by this remote part of cosmos" said Adam as he was full of doubts.

"To confirm his origin and obtain the cause, the commander wants to read his memory and bone age"

"Wwwhhat he wants to forcibly read a perfectly healthy body's memory? he should know that once it's done it will severely affect the mentality and even fry the brain of the specimen. Is he sure of this?"

"Yes Doctor Adam, this is concerning the safety of the crew. We cannot allow an unknown entity to reside in this ship and we have no clue how this human body can remain undamaged in the open space. There is no life on any of the planets nearby and the only planet with life is 3 million light-years from here and how can life exist in the void zone, space is complete chaos. Even an alpha rank civilization has its difficulty while crossing the void zone" said a voice.

"Commander Jules!!" both Phillip and Adam turned around did a military salute.
