"Booooooooo" someone screamed into my ear making me bang my head against the locker. Thankfully, the lockers were made out of wood. What? Don't judge but my school's a good school with extremely poor taste.
Turning around while rubbing the throbbing bump on my forehead, I saw my bestfriends laughing maniacally. Meet Rosaline the psycopath and Melody the two-faced. Rosaline has dark green eyes and almost black hair and is the idiot that decided to scream into my ears while Melody is your average brown haired girl with chocolate eyes and is two-faced because with people who aren't close to her,she's an angel, but with us, she's an absolute devil.
"Well good morning to you too" I said while glaring at the two of them. Sensing the playful tone I used, the chorused"good morning" with shitty grins on their faces. Noticing the excited look on Melodys' face, I decided to ask what was wrong. "Samtoldmehelikesme" she blurted out with a huge grin. I don't think she even realized that she made absolutely no sense to us because she kept looking at us expectantly. " umm...can you repeat that in english?" Rose asked looking utterly confused and tad bit worried that her friend had gone full bonkers. " sorry, Sam told me he likes me" she muttered sheepishly. Instantly , they both started squealing and I just sighed. I couldn't squeal cause I couldn't relate. Never been in a relationship, never been in a relationship, never been kissed before by a male or female other than my mum and probably my dad, heck, never even had a crush. Like, I'm too worried about my mum and Elodie to have a relationship, so it hardly crossed my mind. Being one of the major things I can't relate to with Mel and Rose, I always keep quiet or stare at them.
They both decide to stop squealing and jumping up and down like little kids and talk about the usual; parties, annoying teachers, stupid homework, hot gist etc. "Are you going to Rivers party?" Mel asked but before I could reply, Rose answered for me with a sigh "Of course she's not going. She never had and probably never will." The thing is they don't know about my family situation and hence the real reason I don't go to parties or hangout in general. That doesn't mean we don't know or see each other apart from school hours, we usually have sleepovers in my house. I know it's unfair to them that I keep secrets from them but I don't feel comfortable sharing that kind of information with anybody and mum always says not to spread my dirty linens outside. I do trust them but they can't know about it. " I'm very sorry guys, you know I don't really like parties or any outdoor activity for that matter" I said feeling sad and guilty for not being a good friend. "Don't worry, let's just go to class" Mel replied as the bell for first period rang.
"Gosh this class is so boring!" The girl sitting next to me muttered angrily. Let me tell you, she wasn't lying. People were either sleeping, talking or just doodling on their notebooks. I was on the doodling team. Mrs Stewart was our history teacher and a tad bit crazy, like seriously. She taught like her brain was a textbook and she was just reading from it. Totally irritating and the worst part was history was compulsory for every student in this school. She was so boring that I often wondered how she got married in the first place. Unless her husband was an alien, probably she's one too. I didn't even know the topic she was teaching today. Suddenly, I felt someone staring at me. Not knowing the direction the stare came from. I felt the creepy person stare art and this time around, I saw the person and it turned out to be Tyler Lockwood. Why the hell was he staring at me so intently? Even having been caught, he continued to stare. What the hell?! I have never spoken to him before and he has always been in my school since preschool. He had brown hair with the prettiest green eyes.
I wish I could read minds.
