His girlfriend died last year on a road accident. He broke down then completely. Later he found the driver and beat him to death in rage. It was a pure accident. So driver was not much guilty. But he couldn't control himself from beating the driver.
He didn't also expect that the driver would die from beating. When he understood that the driver was dead from his severe beating. He broke down further. What happened to him? Why did he become like a savage beast?
Later in the sadness of losing loved one and also from the guilt to killed a person who didn't had much choice in the accident, he tried to suicide and ended his life. But every time he tried, he failed. It seemed like that God had decided to punish him while he was being alive.
Very few people knew about the driver incidence. He was the future leader of the Sector 3. If anyone knew about it from the Northern Region then his career and also his family's control over Sector 3 would be finished. So his father took care of this matter secretly. They were lucky enough that the driver hadn't any immediate family member. None outside of those few people knew about the situation.
But still somehow Jin family found out and as the proof there were two video footage. One was from the CC camera while Anirudh was beating the driver to death. Another was that Anirudh was confessing his guilt with Jin Dongmei.
Anirudh was a bad drunker. He always get completely drunk after 2 peg. When he got drunk, he completely forgot to be cautious. He had another bad habit. He would forget everything what he done while he was drunk. So he quit drinking. Jin Dongmei had forced him to drink in his last birthday a few days ago. He didn't remember what happened then. Now he knew what had happened.
He came out from his father's house. He lit a cigar and started smoke furiously. His heart was in turmoil. He was very frustrated. He didn't expected Jin Dongmei's betrayal.
His fiance Jin Dongmei was from the rival Jin family. Although their family was rival but Jin Dongmei always liked and loved him from childhood. But he never thought like that. They both were same aged. They went to same school and college. They were best friends. He didn't expect she would betray him like this.
He finished the cigar and called a taxi. He always used local transportation service.
He confronted Jin Dongmei next day.
"Why have you done this?" Anirudh asked calmly. He knew that there would nothing good come out if he got angry.
"I am not obliged to answer you." Jin Dongmei answer sternly.
"Then can I at least know the reason behind doing it?" Anirudh knew that Jin Dongmei was a very stubborn person. If she refused once she would not answer at all no matter what.
"You have already known the reason. There is no other reason. I hope that you will take a decision soon. Otherwise you know what will happen when this thing gets out." Her face was indifferent.
"I thought that I will leave everything behind me and lead a very happy life with you. But I completely forgot that I was always the unlucky star. My mother died while giving birth to me. I didn't even get her to see me just for a glance let alone getting love. My big sister who loved me more than anything, who raised me like a mother, yet she died saving me when an assassination was attempted to kill this so called crown prince. My younger brother, oh no my younger half brother who used to run around me always, who didn't understand a word without me, who didn't even want to sleep without me, now he is scheming against me to get the family power. My girlfriend, whom I loved more than anything, with whom I wanted to live until death, she also left this world leaving me alone. Now my father who was the last family member who still loved me, took care of me in my hard times, yesterday he declared that he will rather me dead than give up Northern City." Anirudh smiled bitterly.
"Why are you telling me this? Don't try to get sympathy from me. There is no use of trying it. My decision won't falter." Although she was indifferent but in her heart everything was very chaotic. She was feeling deep pain to do such thing to Anirudh. But no matter what she felt it didn't matter. Her family needed this breakthrough.
"Hi hi hi hi. I am not trying to get sympathy from you. I was trying to tell you that you were the only person to whom I could talk without any tension, with whom I could share everything. I was hoping that now that I will be getting my best friend as my wife in future, this is something good ever happened in my whole life. Alas! I forgot that happiness is my arch enemy. You were my lifeline. Now I also lost my lifeline. There is no one left beside me. But I never imagined you would betray me like this. This is the last time I am talking to a friend. I have also no more friend left. I am all alone now." Anirudh was getting very emotional. His heart was aching furiously.
He took a deep breathe and conducted himself. He continued, "So, Won't you change your mind?"
"No." She replied straightly.
"Okay. I will give a answer in 3 days." Anirudh knew that there was no use pursuing her anymore. She wouldn't falter. She was a damned stubborn woman.
After he left there was no one to see that tears was rolling out from Jin Dongmei's eyes frenziedly. She couldn't control herself anymore. She pressed her two hands on her mouth. She sat down and started to cry silently. Women are really a strange creature.
Wasim heard everything silently.
"Wow! So you are an unlucky bastard. No wonder you failed 5 times at attempting to suicide. Every time you tried to suicide I was very eager to possess your body after your death. But I was always left in disappointment." Wasim finally found out why he had been very unlucky. He was always thinking that he was unlucky but didn't know that he chose the biggest unlucky star.
"He he he he. Are you a ghost?" Anirudh was fully drunk.
"Yup my friend. But I can't understand, how can you see me now?" Wasim was also getting drunk. It's was really weird to see a ghost also can be drunk.
"I don't know." Anirudh shrugged his shoulder.
"Hi hi hi. Doesn't matter. Look there my friend there are some shitty ghost was smuggling." Wasim pointed out in a direction where some figure carrying a some boxes. They were standing beside the window. The building was pretty tall. They can see the whole neighborhood from here.
"Where? Oh they are not ghost. They are fucking pirates. They are planing to rob our ship. hic." Anirudh hiccuped while talking.
"What? They are trying to rob our ship? How do they dare to rob us? Let's go. We will teach them a lesson today." Wasim got really angry. His whole body was shaking from anger.
"Let's go my friend." They both jumped through the window from the 10th floor of the building.
They were both completely drunk. They were thinking that they were in the ship and they jumped on water.
They didn't know that after they jumped a person entered their room. It was Jin Dongmei. She was searching whole flat to find Anirudh. But she didn't find him.
The next day they both woke up on a unknown alley. When they woke up they were in confusion why were they sleeping on an alley? Anirudh was surprised to see Wasim next to him. He gave a suspicious glance toward Wasim. Was this Wasim's doing?
They didn't bicker. They knew that they needed to leave this alley at first. When they arrived on the street, they were stunned. The whole street was in mess. Everything was in destruction. What happened in the city? Was there an enemy attack happened last night?
