Rosa and Senator Graysen are on their way to another soiree when her mother's call comes in.
"Rosa, your Grandmother flew in to visit. Come home at once."
Violet and Drago Eder wait in the VIP waiting area while the Ricca's disembark from the private plane.
Rosa looks at Graysen. Graysen feels the urgency so he instructs to turn the vehicle to go to the Eder's Villa. The security behind them wonders about the sudden change of route. When Paulus relays to their communicator their new destination they follow without any qualms.
Brio assists Grandmother Ricca going down from the car when Rosa and the senator arrive at the Eder's Villa.
Rosa happily welcomes their Nonna. "Nonna, this is quite a surprise but it's great that you're here." She turns to hug Antonio. "Uncle, you're here, too. I am so happy even Brio came with you."
Violet asks her brother, "Whom did you leave to take charge of the things over there?"
"My executive assistant constantly reports to me so I can manage in absentia."
When Grandmother Ricca sees Senator Graysen, she calls him. "Giavanotto (young man), come here."
Graysen supports Grandmother with Rosa assisting her at the other side walking inside the house.
"Welcome to Ronia, Nonna. I hope you stay longer here so Rosa and I can spend more time with you."
When they enter the family room, Grandmother Rica slumps in the single sofa. "It was tiring to move around."
Violet serves her mother some refreshment. "So, you know it's tiring but you still insisted on going."
Grandma puts her teacup down. "Eh, don't you want your mother to visit you?"
Violet coaxes the elderly, "Of course not, Mama. Drago and I are glad to have you here but I don't want you to exhaust your body from the trip. We can always visit you as you wish."
"No, I have to come this time," Grandmother Ricca stubbornly insists.
She looks at the senator. "Please sit beside me."
Senator Graysen pulls a chair to sit beside her clueless with what Nonna wants from him.
Grandmother Ricca lightly touches the senator's arm resting on the armchair. She gently says, "Graysen, you promised me that you will take good care of mia Rosa! What happened to your promise? You did not protect her well. Giovanotto (young man), I am so disappointed in you."
Senator Graysen gets bewildered with Nonna's sudden statement.
Grandmother continues, "I came here when I saw that woman's interview. Is that woman Athena's mother?"
The senator starts to understand what Nonna means. Graysen replies to defend himself. "Nonna, that was unexpected and some of the things she said were not true. I love Rosa and I didn't marry her to use her status."
"Prove it to me that you truly love our mia Rosa, young man. She does not need your wealth and prestige. She is a Ricca and always will be."
Graysen keeps silent trying to fathom what Grandmother Ricca wants him to do.
"I can say that she lives well if I can see she lives peacefully. For now, leave Rosa with us," Grandma Ricca tells Graysen.
Rosa finally speaks, "Nonna, what do you mean?"
"You stay here with Nonna. Let your husband do what he has to do."
Rosa kneels beside her Nonna and clasps her hand. "But I am going with Graysen to a soiree. People will talk if they don't see me with him."
Nonna gazes at her granddaughter's face. She lovingly pats her hand. "Let them talk. Just keep your Nonna company."
