Hermes runs out of the conference room leaving the negotiation with the foreign company executives. Everyone wears a perplexed look on their faces wondering on the sudden departure of Hermes Marco.
His assistant apologizes. "We are sorry for the interruption. Mr. Marco has an emergency right now. I'll be in-charge on behalf of the CEO. Thank you for your understanding. Let's continue where we left off."
Hermes gets on the elevator and presses the button to the top floor of the building. "Send me the location now!" He commands over the phone.
Two of Hermes Marco's bodyguards run after him and jump with him in the helicopter. Hermes receives Brie's location address. One of his bodyguards assists the pilot with the coordinates.
In a quarter of an hour, the helicopter hovers around an empty space near the highway. Hermes climbs down the ladder. His accompanying bodyguards already wait for him on the ground. He steadies his legs once on the ground and runs to the yellow car in the middle of the road.
Three cars follow suit. The men alight from the cars to secure the area.
As Hermes approaches near the car, he notices Brie shivering inside trying to make a phone call. He knocks on the window. Brie's tears fall when she sees Hermes.
Hermes opens the car door. Brie reaches out to Hermes. He hugs her.
Police cars arrive at the same time as Senator Graysen Andrei's entourage. The senator approaches the two. Paulus leaves them to check out the tire tracks.
Brie in-between sobs tells Senator Graysen and Hermes what happened.
"Somebody rear-end my car. Then, four masked men broke the car windows and took Rosa and Athena. They rode a black van without a plate number going in the direction of the mountains. They told me to give this to you."
She hands over a small envelope to Senator Graysen.
Graysen finds a note inside. 'What goes around, comes around. The wheel turns around again. Payback time.'
The senator is somewhat familiar with the clue. He pauses for a moment to think. This might be one of the criminals he sent to prison when he was still a prosecutor. If he remembers correctly, their style is almost the same as the disbanded big kidnapping and car theft group in Ronian. He was the one who put the leader in a life sentence.
Hermes hands Brie a bottled water to help her calm down. Brie looks at Hermes. "How did you find me?"
"I own the telephone company you are using remember?"
Brie only nods her head. Exhausted from crying, she tries to even out her breathing.
Senator Graysen's phone rings.
"The Godfather called me. How's the situation right now?"
"Thank you for your concern, General Keitel. I need your help to block the north road going to the mountains. Help me search for a black van with no plate ID. We need to save my wife and daughter the soonest."
Senator Graysen calls his special assistant as soon as the other party ends the call. "Mihai, find our file of the Tucson Gang leader. Check his situation now with the prison commander."
