Madam Desta Apta launches a lifestyle magazine with Rosa as its front cover. This is Madam Desta's way to announce Rosa's comeback after being away from the modeling glamour for half a year.
Rosa's face actually did not stop appearing from the public eye during those months of not working as she still graces the major newspapers as Senator Graysen Andrei's wife. The frequency of her appearance only tamed a little when she went through her failed pregnancy.
Rosa's face becomes a little gloomy when she steps down from the stage riser. Hermes Marco smiles towards her holding a large solitary white rose. She tries to go the other way but Marco still follows her.
She sees Brie and walks up to her. Grabbing Brie's arms,⁰ she pulls her to the dressing room. Marco still follows them with his bodyguards in tow. He orders his security to spread out and make sure nobody approaches the dressing room.
He pushes the door open and enters. Brie turns her body to face him when she notices him going inside.
Brie greets, "Hi, Mr. Marco. How may I help you?"
He look at Rosa sitting with her eyes close. "I want to talk to Rosa alone for a moment," he replies.
Brie retains the smile on her face while slightly raising her right eyebrow. "I am sorry about that Mr. Marco. As you can see, Rosa is resting for a while before coming out again. How about waiting for her to come out later? Then, you can talk to her."
"Is that so?" Hermes keeps smiling patiently. "In that case, please give this rose to my lovely Rosa. As I do not want to disturb her beauty rest, I'll just wait for her outside."
Brie takes the rose from Hermes and puts it on the vanity table.
Rosa opens her eyes when Brie whispers to her that Hermes already went out.
"I want to go home now," Rosa declares.
"But Madam Desta expects you to mingle around with the advertisers," Brie opposes.
Rosa reasons out, "Tell Madam Desta I have a headache attack."
"Very well." Brie is about to open the door to inform the Madam when she notices that there are people outside the room. She closes and locks the door this time.
Brie relates the news to Rosa, "I am not sure if we can get out of this room right now. Mr. Marco's people are outside guarding."
Rosa picks up her phone and calls Madam Desta. "Madam, I recall Mr. Hermes Marco is one of your major advertisers. Kindly call him on stage and thank him. I think he would be so happy about that to support your other projects." Rosa smirks as she swipes the end icon.
Brie keeps her right ear glued to the door to listen to the noises outside. She counts from one to ten after hearing Madam Desta's announcement of Hermes' name and slightly opens the door to take a peek.
Hermes' people follow him to the stage to keep guard. Brie seizes the moment and quickly pulls Rosa outside the dressing room all the way to the exit.
Hermes comes back to the dressing room right after his acknowledgment. He sees the door slightly ajar. He directly enters the dressing room. Looking around, he notices the rose he gave to Rosa, but the room is empty.
He calls his head security to look for Rosa or Brie. All his securities report to him after 15 minutes that they cannot find either Rosa or Brie.
He berates the head security, "Why did you all follow me to the stage? You should have left somebody here to keep guard!"
