Chapter 7 - (6) Bloodfoot and Stormvance faces condemnation

Lady Ivette and Master Irwin lifted Alaric onto a bed before going aside to discuss how to deal with the perpetrators. Cheiftess Lumen left to rest in her study while attending to paperwork. She sanctioned all further actions while agreeing to not know the details.

The two healers spoke for awhile then separated. Lady Ivette would stay to monitor the young ones. Master Physician Irwin left the ward and found the Captain of the Guards. She had just received the Cheiftess' order and accompanied Irwin to arrest Stormvance and cage Bloodfoot. Bloodfoot roared and charged the guards injuring several, resisting being put in the cage. Stormvance was found drunk and so made easier to lead to the interrogation cell. Not that it was actually easy to do but in compared to his mount, it was easier. Eventually he was shackled to the interrogation chair and left to sober up. The Chieftess sent a fast flight falcon to ask permission to end the brutes life from the Chief of the Sun tribe.

A few days later a reply came. The order came from the Sun tribes Cheiftess. Execute him. Compiled against him was a huge stack of evidence of wrong doing. Honestly the Alaric's mother was horrified that her husband had been ignoring the problem for years, and as Cheiftess she took the matter into her own power. Cheiftess Lumen nodded and gave the order. During the past days of interrogation Stormvance had confessed to his crimes... their methods of interrogation ...were questionable but only used against criminals of the highest level. Master Physician Irwin was given the go ahead and he injected the poison into both beasts. They were tossed into a dark cell together and left to deal with the affects of the poison.

Several Days later a guard went and checked. Both beasts had died brutally from savaging eachother under the influence of the poison. Justice was fulfilled.
