"Don't shout! You idiot" Sherley screeched, her calm outward persona shattered leaving only a scared girl. A side of her that I haven't ever seen. She had placed a hand on her chest, trying to calm her heart rate down. "You're beautiful," I thought while starring at her. "Sorry I just wasn't expecting you; can I get you anything?"
I said while walking towards the Mini fridge in the corner of my room, "right under... my poster of high school of the dead character Rei Miyamoto in a very revealing outfit". Shit, I thought while tearing, at it with an animal like speed. Finally getting it off only to realize the reason why It was there in the first place, "oh no" I said practically feeling the manifestation of Sherley's thoughts, tapping on my head asking "Hello is anyone in there? this is the outside world, hello".
There were drawling's of people from around the town, the big-breasted miss Parker just a few houses down from me, and just random drawling's of body parts, "wow did you do this? They're all very detailed. Also, I said I didn't want anything to drink.
You should pay more attention" Sherley said playfully while walking towards me, she was oddly playful, twisting and turning and smiling oddly. "Oh, yeah I did them but let's get started," I said, still embarrassed, of the few drawling's of genitals and breast on the wall. "Alright let's start with math, well do addition, then subtracting. After that good move on to harder things".
She said while reaching into her bad filled with many books. Before she could pull out a book, I fiercely told her, "I know how to add and subtract, are you serious? Don't insult my intelligence" honestly her insistence on doing simple adding and subtracting pissed me off, "does she really think I was an idiot."
I thought while giving her a serious look. She laughed, a seriously cute laugh but I forced myself to not find it cute or particularly funny, though id normally let this go, and move on to never think about again. "Not this time," I thought, but before I could give her a piece of my mind, she said. "you've never displayed this side of you before.
Honestly, who would have thought that the kid who did the bare minimum throughout most of his life could be so prideful." She said this in an oddly serious voice, "did she really think she knew me?".
I quickly asked her "what do you know about me, I've barely spoken a word to you, pretty much ever since meeting you, who are you to say that I put in no effort, I'll have you know that I've put in a lot of effort and my grades show it." I said, flinching under the intensity of her gaze, knowing that everything I said was a lie and fearing that she knew it too.
Strange enough she didn't say anything but instead just reached into her bag and pulled out a few sheets of paper stapled together.
I knew what it was, I just did, a part of me just understood. A look of disappointment and frustration appeared on my face, Sherley looked at me with a playful sadistic look, I wanted to shout out for my dad forcing him to explain what he had done. "It seems you know what this is. Good, that makes all this easier."
She said mimicking a cheesy villainous voice with a big smile on her face and while holding up my school transcript, "how'd you get that?" I asked her while leaning in closer. "Don't even try it!" She said while pulling the paper further away from me laughing like some kid who just won a prize. "To answer your question, your father gave it to me. He said I should use it to create a set of learning curriculum." "Oh, course he did"
I thought while looking away from her, towards something oddly intriguing. A large pile of dirty clothes was overflowing out of my bright blue dirty clothes basket, next to my aged chipped white painted closet, that was covered in my drawling. I hadn't realized how much time had passed. It feels as though I haven't been in this room for quite some time now. While Staring at the pile of dirty clothes on the floor, trying to test how qi works by trying to lift the pile with my mind. I gave it all my effort, it was honestly weird, but I didn't care.
My room was big and spacious, It had enough space for my desk, large queen size bed and a designated area for all my game stations, that I currently do not have the controllers too. but with all the old things on the floor, it now looked clustered and small. "Alexander! What's wrong with you?" Sherley yelled out while, clasping my face within her hands, staring intently into my eyes.
"Did you see it?" I asked, flustered What are you talking about?" she asked somewhat annoyed, "I'm talking about the bullying I went through, did you see that in my transcript?" I said timidly, her hands didn't leave my face for a while. So that's what all the blacked-out parts were" she said while staring at me.
I didn't go into detail about what I said, we instead got serious about math. Though I wasn't happy about it. She said that mental math helps in creating a foundation that I could figuratively stand on. Which will help me with multiplication and division which are both skills that I must master, a skill that will help me figure out complex math equations faster later on? Surprisingly when we got done with math, we chatted for a while, maybe just an hour. "You know, it's strange talking to you now… like this… I mean I've always thought you hated me".
I said, while awkwardly rummaging through old stuff. She was sitting on my bed with her knees tucked up to her face, she had soft white skin and delicate freckles were splashed all over her face, mostly just below her eyes. Her eyes yes her eyes she had eyes that gave off the feeling of experience.
"Why'd you think that?" she said, awkwardly shifting in my bed. Her pink skirt moved ever so slightly. I started thinking that if I was paying attention or had any courage to look, could I see her panties.
"Why'd I think that," I thought laughing slightly, looking up from my pointless rummaging, through old memories, to look at her, she had the most beautiful light brown eyes. While gazing awkwardly at her I noticed that my slight laugh pissed her off. She shot up staring me dead in the eye,
"Alex, you really do twist and turn things, don't you? From what I remember, I've always tried to start conversations with you, whenever I saw you in the halls or if I saw you skateboarding around. Id wave at you, try asking you questions, it's you that hasn't ever paid attention to anyone but yourself." She said quickly, not even taking a breath in-between.
she became shy and her face lite up, a bright red color. "I have to go," she said unable to even look me in the eyes. Quickly grabbing her bag and darting out of my room. I remember bursting out "wait!" just as she darted out of my room choosing to ignore me.
After she left, I laid there contemplating, whether to clean my room or just to lay here for a little longer, just a little longer I thought….
"A! come on its dinner time!" dinner? I thought, I didn't question where the voice came from or who said it, I just got up and walked out of my room turned towards the kitchen, "hey dumb dumb" Samuel shouted, while sitting at the kitchen table, I chose to ignore him and take my normal seat, "what's for dinner?" I said, with a smile of confidence on my face. "What's going on with him?" I heard my family whispering.
I didn't care though I was on cloud nine. Smiling was all I could do. "How was your tutoring?" my mother asked, in an overly curious way. Mom, how do you know if a girl likes you?" I asked with confidence, sitting up straight, looking everyone in the eye as I spoke. My mother gave off a belly aching chuckle, "why do you ask that baby?" I could tell she knew the answer but just wanted me to say it, so I didn't keep her waiting. "I think Sherley likes me," I said smooth voice and an even smoother smile.
"What makes you think she likes you?" my father asked, trying to speak over the crazy laughter of Samuel. Who was now slamming his hand on the table, practically dying of laughter? I gave my family a summary of what just happened, the dinner table grew quiet, everyone but Samuel. Just ate for what seemed like a minute, my father broke the silence and asked, "Is that all?"
"what do you mean Is that all? And shut up Samuel I'm this close to kicking the shit out of you!" I shouted, just now landing from my fall from cloud nine, and now realizing the fact that my little brother has been bullying me for quite some time now. "Alex!" my mother called out. But I didn't care this little shit has been going on for far too long.
The room grew quiet, well quieter than usual. All that could be heard were the cries of Samuel and my mother comforting him. "Can I be dismissed?" I asked? "Go ahead," my father said. Staring at me, somewhat disappointed. "well talk about this tomorrow" my mother said.
I went straight to my room, plopped on my bed and started reading [alchemy for idiots], "10 ounces of purple leopard grass, 4 incu butterfly cocoons, and 1 blood flower petal" this was the required ingredients for blood purification pill. The description of blood purification said that once swallowed the pill would target the impurities in the body, mostly blood and expel them through the skin. Leaving the body without ailments.
My mind raced when looking at this pill, it didn't say but I wonder could this pill cure cancer, could it cure every disease? I wanted to know had to even.
I continued looking through the book, not really reading, just instead looking at what I considered the strangest ingredients, like "divine pigs blood, ancient frog wood, or the best one yet insect queen lungs" the last one nearly made me burst out laughing. What the hell is all of this? I thought, after getting boarded of that I finally had the courage to look up the website that was listed in the book. I'm assuming it's a place to buy ingredients. All that came up were instructions on where to go to begin the process of gaining access.
I wasn't in any position to do any of that, so I instead chose to clean my room up just a little. Getting some launder done and cleaning up my closet when that was done and I finally felt sleepy, I slowly laid on my bed and waited for sleep to come to me.
When my eyes closed, I was back again floating in darkness. I saw what I knew was the dragon with the fishes head, now no longer spewing out filth but instead drawing It into its body, the space seemed to shrink just a little every time I blinked, the dragon was even larger than before, though no longer its former monstrous size and now appearing smaller than me it was still something that would be considered large. I floated there watching it move through the darkness taking what little it could.
Tomorrow I must begin the qi core creation process" I thought now realizing what I needed to do, after what seemed like hours just laying down I finally managed to get to sleep.
