((Gerard T. Wykes was hated among his family for his half elven lineage as well as being born from a slave, the only person who somewhat cared for him was his oldest brother George. In the game Geordo's death was a defining moment for Gerard as his status in the family was elevated. This was the moment that Gerard realized the only way to move up in life was to step on others which made him regret the fact that he didn't kill Geordo himself. This mindset became his primary driving force for his later actions in the game))
