Markus's POV:
Only two days left until the scheduled awarding ceremony for the young nobles who are coming of age, there has been no progress on the investigation of prince Charles's poisoning case which is strange since as the country with the largest and most expansive territory on Valentia the empire's secret police and information network is enough to even put Executor to shame. This can only mean one of two things: either the one responsible is extremely careful and has the ability to work well beyond the empire's grasp like Executor or the one who poisoned the prince has a very high standing within the empire and a deep understanding on what goes on in the nation's shadows and can evade the secret eyes and hand of the imperial government with ease.
((But that's none of my concern since I already know who did it thanks to that little trip to the palace, the only thing I'm concern with for the moment is how this will affect Sophia and how she will react once she finds out...))
