Lucia smiled and said, "You don't need to tell me anymore Harry because even in your absence I continued to love you and live for you hoping that one day you would come back. And God was always gracious for now you are here, that is enough for me."
Harry stumbled and laid Lucia back to bed crying in so much regret and pain. "I should have not left, I was lost and in pain and when I met you and had the chance to talk to you the first time we met, I remembered that I still have a life to live. I was living my life on the edge at that time Lucia. I was not sure if I was ready to be part of yours. I was too scared for I was extremely happy that day." "Lucia please can you still hear me? Please look at me and promise me to live longer for us."
"Harry, I already lived loving you through the years even in you absence. And I have been happy knowing that in my heart I have you. I am happy that now you are here. That was the last wish I have and now it is granted."
They held each other so tight and then for the last time Lucia spoke, "Harry, goodbye. I have loved you and will always do. Carry me in your heart forever."
Those were the last words of Lucia.
Harry took care of Lucia's funeral and burial. Lucia never talked about her family so only the people in the institution and in her office was there at her funeral and burial.
The day they first met, it was the day he was wondering around looking for a reason to live after losing his job and house. The money he spent for coffee and cake was few of the last money left in his pocket. The rest he spent looking for her and then he ended up in the homeless shelter when all of his money was already spent. He was both happy and embarrassed seeing Lucia at the homeless shelter and all he could do at that time was to leave and disappear.
