Theo smooth and beautiful voice belonging to a young man echoed nicely on Claret ears while there was not a single discomfort at the way that the gorgeous young man she has just met a few days ago was currently holding one of her hands.

Squishy who has a spiritual connection to Claret, couldn't help but roll his eyes.

Finally reaching the edge of the forest, and seeing the familiar Village a few steps away, Theo has finally let go of Claret hand before turning around to face her.
"Do you know anyone who I can give a message orb in order to send it to the town communication?"
Theo could have left rather than sending a message even though he was still injured, but somehow he felt a bit reluctant to do so, and since he doesn't know why he felt this way, thus he decided to remain until he completely heals.
Besides, although he still feels a bit skeptical toward his team party, they are probably worried when he just suddenly transported during a fight and with a magical monster ox after stepping over a mysterious magical array.
Claret who heard Theo questions, nods her head since she knew a person, and luckily this is the day when that person will be going to the town this week.
Although this is a village in a rather backyard place, there is always a person that will always go to the closest town, besides, although the Edhel Continent has a rather western feeling about it, it is a much more high tech world because of the use of magic.
"I'll bring you there when we bring Mariette home, is that alright with you?"
Theo who heard the soft voice of Claret has to blink his amber eyes before glancing at the panda beast child that has been staying silent the entire time and has been hiding on Claret side using her dirty hand to grip the young woman skirt with pure black eyes filled with trust to a human.
Which he was surprised a bit, since despite most of the beast's race has a timid, fearful and nervous personalities, but they still retain a bit of instinct regarding danger and malicious intents as a part of animal blood inside them, and from the look of it, this child has a rather stronger sense and instinct but is still trusting Claret to take her home safety.
"Alright."
Smiling a bit, Theo then lets Claret lead the way while following along behind her and the panda beast child, although he finds it amusing as the young woman seemed to stand still for a tiny bit when he smiled before she started walking.
Usually, he doesn't feel well when the other people react in a certain way because of how he looks, after all, his appearance has also given him a set of trouble from the past which causes his amber eyes to darkened while dark emotion flashes before it quickly turn back to normal.
Somehow, he felt a bit uneasy the mere thought of scaring Claret toward him.
So with a normal expression back to his gorgeous face, Theo watch Claret the entire time his amber eyes unconsciously turning a bit warmer when he looked at her, feeling at ease at the young woman presence while a gentle expression suddenly appear on his gorgeously beautiful young face when he saw how Claret has gently and kindly speak patiently at the panda beast child.
It was quite rare to find a human treating another race with gentleness and kindness after all.
"Father! Mother!"
"Mariette! There you are!"
"Mariette,... Cough… cough… child where did you go?... Cough!"
Suddenly the panda beast child Claret has been holding, has suddenly run fast causing her to let go of the child hand in surprise, before finally seeing the worrying figure of human and a beautiful brown rabbit ears woman just standing outside the village gate.
Probably going to search at their missing child as she watches in a rather warmth heart at the touching family scene before her.
"... sigh… I feel a bit envious."
"Why?"
Claret who couldn't help but mumble words in envy at the touching reunion of the family before her, instantly heard Theo voice who happens to be standing by her side again without her knowing about it when she was completely focused at the people standing a few distances away from her.
"I just miss my mother."
"Celine?"
Smiling a bit sadly, Claret glance at the confuse Theo before speaking about her beloved mother that has passed away, although she loves Celine as much as she loves her biological mother, it doesn't change the fact that Celine is different from the Mother that she has grown up with.
"Well... I miss my biological Mother who passed away not long ago."
"Oh… I.. didn't know that… I am sorry for your lost?"
Seeing Theo being stunned and showing an expression of awkwardly doesn't have any clue about how to react at the sudden information, Claret couldn't help but laugh happily, the sadness she was feeling has instantly blown away which was really unusual.
Theo who saw Claret laugh so happily and brightly couldn't help but completely amazed since although she has been smiling toward him the entire time that he met her, this is the first time that her smile wasn't reserved in a certain way.
Yes, although Claret has been showing him a sincere and true smile however it was the kind of smile she somehow shows to everyone around her.
There is a one-time that Theo saw a completely different type of smile that has appeared on Claret face which was so dazzling and it was shown only to the other older woman living in the Wood Forest and it was Celine.
And here Theo thought that those special smiles belong to Celine only, but now, he was seeing it being shown toward him, thus unbeknown to him, his heart skips a bit.
"Um… Miss Claret… Thank you for taking care of our daughter."
"Yes Miss Claret, I really don't know what to do if something bad happens to my child."
Suddenly the couple voice who manages to walk over toward them has suddenly voiced their gratefulness, while the mother seemed to let out cough from time to time when she was speaking.
"And I know I shouldn't be asking this after helping our daughter but Miss Claret… do you happen to have a medicine for treating my wife's sickness with you right now? I can pay for it, I finally have the money to buy it, please if you can?"
In this world, although it was a medicine that has been made from a beginner, it is still rather precious since the herbs in this world contain magic within it.
And for a family that has beast race on it, Claret knew that most of the human that was able to concoct a medicine doesn't sell it to other races because just like she mentioned before, other races in the Edhel World doesn't have much right and has been looked down by the human race.
As for the reason about why they aren't also asking her to heal the mother's sickness using light magic, aside from the different treatment of a race that isn't human, only a powerful and high-level people can manage to heal a person natural illness.
And as being treated only as a beginner and identity of just an apprentice of a person who doesn't belong in the outer part of the Goddess of Mercy Church Organization it was completely plausible not to be asked because only those high status in the Church Organization are capable to do it.
Although, a person that doesn't belong to the Church Organization is capable to also cast a healing spell however those people are quite rare, though Claret was capable of it however she doesn't want to use and show it at the moment.
"Ah, yes I got more of it with me, don't worry."
With a gentle smile, Claret took out the medicine she just concocted and has given it to the man who is in his thirties before taking the coin copper money.
In the Edhel World, everyone uses coins as currency which split into three kinds of types of money, copper, silver, and gold, although there is also another currency being used though it will be explained later on.
As Claret places the money on her magical space bag which her Mother Celine has given, although she doesn't feel like treating the rabbit beast illness with her light magic, however, she would have like to give the medicine she created without any payment but when she observed the older man's eyes, she could see a dignify expression carried within it.
Despite being poor, and treated not good at the other human people in the village because of marrying a beast race, this man still carried a strong will and dignity even when he was facing a hard life and Claret will respect him for it.
