"There she is! Stop running!"
"Get her! Don't let her run away!"
"Damn! She ran very fast!"
"Fuck! Where is the weak and delicate woman that we are told about? That damn woman could sure run for so long!"
Extremely loud shout along with swear words echoed out while hurried numerous footsteps loudly resound in a deserted alley way as a group of people with bad appearances run after at the currently running delicate figure of young woman far ahead of them.
With her heart beating fast, Claret let out a soft pants as she frantically run away while wearing a very tired expression on her sweaty and pale beautiful face as she tried really hard to lose the group of people that has been after her for a long while now in the connected alley way of the City of A.
She ran as fast as she could in order for the group of bad people from catching up toward her, however despite trying really hard to run away with the best of her abilities, Claret could still hear those loud footsteps that continue to stubbornly follow behind her while they shout with threatening words as they asked her to stop running away.
Claret continue to frantically run without even looking back once because she knew perfectly well that she couldn't allow herself to be caught at this moment on or something extremely bad will happen to her.
Why she is currently running in an alleyway while a group of bad people has been trying to desperately seize her?
Well, a long time ago, Claret has been walking home after she finishes her job of teaching a group of children on how to play an instrument called a violin when suddenly a group of people with their bad appearance has suddenly blocked her way to her home.
And as soon as she saw them, she knew that they are bad news, oh it was not because of their appearance or being bias about them but it was because she has quickly use the ability that she was born with, which she has named as Spirit Energy Eyes.
It was the ability to see any form of energies.
Her Emerald green eyes has the ability to see the spirit of a departed soul of a dead person, or more precisely she is able to see all different kinds of form that has energy within it.
And from what most of the people have known as ghosts, spirits, and souls has also been a kind of pure energy, something that she has learned with great difficulties when she has been growing up with each numerous trials and errors that she has tried to patiently experiment and observed with in order to know more about the ability that she was born with.
During that time, she has been seen as an abnormal and eccentric person when she was just a child.
Although she did her very best to be seen as a normal person like everyone else around her after hearing those rumors being talked about by the people around.
Oh, Claret wasn't a bit worried about how she was being seen since she completely knew that she has always been different from what a normal person should be, it was just the fact that Claret didn't want to give any more trouble to her loving Mother that is already trying really hard to raise her despite being a Single Mother.
Claret already doesn't have a father to begin with which was something that has given a bit of bad reputation toward her Mother, she doesn't want to add any more burdened and troubled to the Mother that has been trying extremely hard to give her the very best that she could offer.
To that kind of Mother that has greatly shown her love, trying to make her happy and thinking more about her well being all the entire time, it isn't surprising that Claret has also given the same amount of affection that her Mother has shown and given her.
However despite being shown about the most beautiful and positive emotions that the world has to offer, there is the sad fact that she can see better about the spirits or energies with more strong resentment to those it was specified for, and it can stay far longer to the person when how intense and overwhelming the negative emotions it contains.
Oh, Claret can also see those positive emotions, but she rarely see it since negative emotions has been what she has been able to see the most ever since she was a young child.
So, every creature that has life within them, be it humans, animals and plants has all different kinds of energy based on how strong their soul has been, even after death, as long as the energies their souls or spirit contain are strong, are also able to leave some type of energies in the present world.
There was also this one time where she was able to coincidentally see a car accident happen before her, which the person who got hit died in a car crash, and with her emerald green eyes, she saw that the person's soul has been unable to remain after he just died, although unless a certain living being has a very powerful soul, they will not disappear completely and will be able to exist for a long time in the living world, thus despite the fact that she was able to see spirits, ghosts or souls roaming around the place that she stay into it is a rare thing to her.
So, when she has been blocked on her way home, the first thing that Claret did was to use her Spirit Energy Eyes, then on that moment on, she saw those black resentment of the group of people that has blocked her way, it was the resentment of the living people that they have made miserable, while also containing the resentment of a person that they have taken a life of a person off.
The matter before her was also something bad as those black energies was a bit stronger, and darker from what she usually see with the people around her.
In that moment on, Claret knew that those people are bad news, and as her emerald eyes glance at the people around her that has been staring in her direction with a worried expression on their way, knew that they wouldn't offer their help to save her.
Despite being worried about her well being, it doesn't change the fact that they will not be making a move to physically help her from the group of people that has already blocked her way from running away and going into the crowd in order to get the help she needed.
So with the best of what she could do, Claret in that moment has decisively bolt and run toward the alley way that those group of people has left a slit of to run away from.
They probably thought that she will follow them obediently, or even scared to even make a move, that has always been what her image that she mostly has been showing to the people around her.
Kind, delicate, fragile and gentle, although those are all not a life and mask she was just showing for appearance sake, as it always has been a part of her, there has always been something more deeply about herself.
So she ran away without any hesitation, as for the people watching in the crowd while she was being pressured and threatened, although Claret knew that there are nice people out there that really will offer to physically help her with their own hands, but those people can be known as rare people, since unfortunately, most of the people living in this world has always been cold and indifferent in their own way as long as the problems and troubles doesn't affect themselves.
Basically, Claret knew that she was unable to trust those people to offer their help, aside from calling the police maybe, but personally they will not help her to defend and confront those group of people that can be seen that has an ill intention toward her.
Oh, it is not impossible for someone to come and help her out but from what she has observed after glancing around the crowd of people that has been watching with a worried expression on their faces, not a single person will offer their help.
However, from those people that has been indifferent and cold, it doesn't matter one bit to Claret, she has always known that most of the time, she has to be the one to do it herself and solves those problems and troubles that come her way.
It was something that she really prefer more to do, since from the start, it has always been her late Mother and herself that solves all those problems that has been happening in their life.
They can only help each other out.
Thus, she ran in the alley way without any hesitation, as she took the matter of saving her own life with her own hand, so whatever happened next was something that she will bear responsibility for.
So here she is, currently running around the alley way to save her life, which was something she is fortunate with since these dark and dangerous alleyway was something that she has known all about and has far more experience with, it was those secret thing that she has been doing when dealing with something more darker when she was growing up.
Of course, her beloved late Mother has never known about it, something that she has kept as a secret knowing that her mother doesn't need to know more about her darker side.
As a single child with only a single Mother raising her up without any father to help when she was growing up, Claret has grown up with a bit of different thinking process than a perfectly normal person should have, specially when she has been affected with the environment when growing up despite having a perfectly loving Mother.
To everyone that has been able to become normal despite not having a perfect family with a mother and father, Claret felt a bit envious because she was a bit different from a normal person, especially when she was born with the ability to see those positives but mostly negatives energies around the people she keeps meeting.
And with the way how unfair life can be, a person can also grow up differently depending on it, especially when it seemed that unfortunate thing happened a lot toward the two of them as they live their life together.
