Alex looked back at Judy one more time and they both exchanged nodes letting each other know they were ready, as if to say without saying anything "Let's do this!". Quietly Alex, still holding onto Judy's hand jump down off of the wagon and then helping Judy get down. They both are about to start running to hide until Judy feel something pull her by the shirt jerking her back. Judy's shirt got caught onto a rusty nail sticking out of the wooden back of the board on the wagon. Judy pulled as hard as she could, with Alex behind her clenching her shirt and helping her rip the cloth off of that rusty nail. Once Judy was freed Alex gentle grabbed Judy's hand to hide until dark so they could have a better advantage of hiding in the shadows then in broad daylight, where they could easily get caught.
Judy and Alex stumbled across an abandoned janitors closet and hid there until night came which would take a few hours. Judy and Alex sat in the room in silence for a little while until Judy let out a faint giggle. With a confused expression on Alex's face, he stared blankly at Judy patiently waiting for an answer to explain.Alex became impatient then asked without even thinking " What's with the cute giggle?". "Wait, What?!" He shouted to himself mentally. "Did I just say that out loud?!" Alex stopped talking as his face started turning bright red.
Judy then let out a chuckle and said "It's fine, I know my laugh is cute." she jokingly elbowed him with a sly smirk on her face and said "But I giggled, because I'm thinking to myself how bad the "security system" to not notice two kids go by. Especially in their own leaders house." she said then started laughing out in glee, and then Alex laughed along with her. "Man. I haven't laughed like that in a long time, not since I was a kid at the least to say." Judy said trying her hardest to breathe from the long laughter. "Hey, same here. I haven't laughed this much since Lucas and I tell eachother clever jokes under the old oak tree behind my house. I stopped going there after…" Alex's smile now consorts into a painful frown. Judy then grabs a hold of his hand and gives him a sympathetic smile.
