A berserk dungeon is a dungeon which sends its own monsters regularly out to hunt every living being which doesn't belong to the dungeon. In other words a catastrophe to the surroundings. As the time pass the threat of a berserk dungeon grows as well the affected area.
The small county with the name of Lyall has the bad fate of possessing a berserk dungeon on its borders to a mountainous savage region. Since nearly one year the monsters of the well hidden dungeon started to assault villages and small towns.
In this time span the region starting from the mountains and dozens of kilometres afar become deselect and void of life.
A small group of legendary characters of the Silver Stone Kingdom journeyed together to eliminate the threat. This group based on 5 highly skilled individuals. James the cleric, Nick the archer, Lara the magician, Clarissa the assassin and the leader Frank the tank.
Together they forced through the berserk dungeon up until the last defence and also the last floor of the dungeon. However the fights beforehand exhausted nearly the group, because the dungeon didn't let the group rest for a single moment, since they entered the dungeon. So the only result for the group was to fight or to die on the last floor. With this mentality the group fought desperately and beat the last Monster in the dungeon which stood between them and the dungeon core.
The moment when Lara shot the stuck arrow in the behemoths eye with a lightning-ray the Monster staggered long enough for Frank to behead the Monster.
"Finale down. I nearly thought this thing were immortal ."(Lara)
"We should rest for a moment. This is the first opportunity since we entered this dungeon and no monster is near to us."(Frank)
"Good idea. A rest is what I need the most now, or else if I use a single spell more then I would loss my consciousness because of low mana. This would be the first time in years." (Lara)
"If you want I could transfer some mana from me."(James)
"You only want to give me a kiss pervert. Don't you have a potion left for me?"(Lara)
"If you don't want, suite your self. And no, I had to use my last on an hour ago."(James)
"Boss how log can we rest?"(Lara)
"I think a few minutes."(Frank)
Lara looked to James with a triumphant grin and sat on the ground down.
The moment later everyone laughed out loud.
"As fare as I see the situation hear, we need only to truck the wall in the left corner down and then smash the platform beneath the core. With that this dungeon should be paralysed and we are safe to take the core with us."(Clarissa)
"Hey our mission is to destroy the core and not sent this disaster free on an other part of this world."(James)
"James with this core the mages could start to understood the dungeon and find a way to block or even isolate the dungeons which went berserk."(Lara)
"Yes exactly how it went in the capital of Lilian Kingdom? Ha! In the end they want to profit from the dungeon and the result should be the same. Nearly every slave, commenter and noble with a low rank was killed because of a runaway. The best of it was that no one except the high ranking nobles were prepared! Say Lara do you want the same here in the Silver Stone Kingdom?"(James)
"They aren't as stupid as the Lilians"(Lara)
"Yes. They would probably tray to profit from the core in a small town."(James)
"Enough! We don't have the core jet so shut up and rest !"(Frank)
After around have an hour the group started to move forwarded. They destroyed the wall protecting the core room and went near the platform.
"It looks beautiful. However what a pity that this thing is the sours of evil which destroyed countless lives."(Lara)
"Beautiful or not this is the end for it. It should suffer for what its done. I say Lara curse it with a self-destruction spell with the time limit of a few months and then give it to the nobles. Let them play with it until it gets destroyed."(Nick)
"Some times even I don't know if you are a good Samaritan or a devil."(James)
"Who cares. I do what I want to do. Boss what do you think."(Nick)
"Ya James has a point. Sometimes I get goose bumps from you are saying or doing."(Frank)
"Boss."(Nick)
"Jokes aside. Your suggestion sounds good. Has anyone a better solution. And I mean in which everyone can agree on?"(Frank)
"I am with boss."(Clarissa)
"Ok ok. Then lets do it Nicks way. Then lets start everyone."(Lara)
"Maggots don't you dare come closer!"(???)
"It can talk?"(James)
"What ever lets end this. The mages can have they fun with it talking to them."(Lara)
"You forced me to it. Now die!!!"(Core)
At the same time the core started to glow red and it tried to summon a void Storm to obliterate the whole team. The team wasn't able to react timely the only thing they could do was to strengthen they defence and hope to survive the attack. However instead of an all annihilating void storm a oddly coloured Sphere appeared. It fall onto the dungeon core and smashed it into pieces. At the same time a shock wave smashed the team into a near wall. Because of the impact all except Frank fall unconsciousness. With blood covering his whole back Frank opened his eyes and saw his teammates on the floor, the walls shaking and crater where the core was floating. With his last strands of his consciousness Frank collected his lying teammates and took out an scroll. The next moment the scroll opened it self on its own and the devastated team glowed for a moment and vanished the next. The smashed core room was now bloodstained and in the middle of the room was a crater. Around the crater were some pieces of the smashed dungeon core.
