POV
Nym:
I quickly tried to finish my shower as Soren was waiting on me. I was worried that if I took too long he would have another episode. I finished rinsing my long auburn hair, and turned off the slightly cold water.
"I'm coming out now, so please make sure that you are fully dressed." I said in a slightly loud voice. I reached my hand out to grab the towel from the rack. My fingers rubbed the slightly course gray fabric as I pulled it behind the shower curtain. I quickly tied it around my body. It wrapped around my body twice before being knotted near my chest.
I stepped out from behind the deep crimson colored curtain. I reached for another towel to dry my long hair. To my surprise Soren was fully dressed and sitting down while waiting for me. His face was slightly flushed when he locked over at me. Only he averted his gaze when he saw me looking at him.
It was really weird to have someone else here again, but in a way it was really nice. He grabbed my set of clothes off of the counter and handed them to me without looking up. I patted his head before taking the clothes from him.
"Thank you Soren." I smiled at him affectionately. "I'm going to go into the bedroom to change... can you wait in here please?" Once nodded to me to me I made my way out off the bathroom, but kept the door open halfway.

POV
Soren:
I watched as she made her way out of the bathroom. Occasional water droplets would land on the tile floor. Her wavy auburn hair looked almost like spilled ink. Her hair cascaded down her back in beautiful torrents. When she came out of the shower the water on her was like little crystal droplets. They slipped down her pale scarred body and onto the floor.
I could barely make out her figure when she was putting on her clothing. I turned around and started fiddling with the blue ribbon in my hair. It felt really soft when I brushed my fingers over the delicate material. It looks like the morning sky; so pretty and gentle. I wonder if Lilith made the sky that color? Why is it a soft blue in the day time but a dark blue in the evening? I began to become entrapped by the questions I had formulated in my mind.
I felt a soft tap on my shoulder, and almost jumped out of my skin. I.. i didn't even hear her come back. It kinda scared me a little bit; you think I would be used to how quiet and effortlessly she moves.
"Come on, let's go and eat our breakfast." She nudges my shoulder softly.
We slowly headed down the stairwell. The rhythmic clacks if our foot steps filled the room. With every step my heartbeat would quicken. It sounded like the stairs from back then. Stop! No! Please! My breath hitches in my throat. Calm down it's okay. I'm safe now.He cannot hurt me anymore. He is dead! She killed him, and she promised that she wouldn't let anyone hurt me. She promised.
I did my best to calm down when I felt a hand pat my back affectionately. I forced out a strained smile of thanks towards her. We finally reached the end of the stairs. Those twenty or so stairs felt like they would never end. I breathed a sigh of relief when we walked towards the dining room. There was still a faint scent that drifted into my nose. My nostrils flared trying to get more if the heavenly aroma.
"Hold on I'm going to reheat it." I went to go and sit down at the bar while I waited. I looked at a small pitcher that was placed on the counter. It was filled with a pinkish orange liquid. It smelled really sweet.

POV
Nym:
I was reheating the omelettes in the skillet and popped the toast I. The microwave for fifteen seconds. I looked over to find Soren staring at the orange juice intently. The best way I could describe this scene would be a tiger cub trying to wait patiently for its mother, but wanting something really really badly. It was very comical to see such a serious and skittish child be amazed by orange juice. I did my best to hid my smile.
After a few more minutes I took the omelettes off the skillet as replateted them. I placed the toast on the plates and set them in front of the two barstools on the countertop. I pulled out two greyish colored glasses from the cabinet and one black coffee mug with grumpy cat on it. On the mug it said "F**k it" in English. I went to go and brew a small pot of coffee.
Good old Fo1g3rs, never lets me down. I put 6 tablespoons off coffee grounds in the filter and refilled the water tank. Now we wait. I walked over to Soren and picked up the glasses to fill with ice.
Cuh clunk cuh clunk.
I placed them back down on the counter and slowly filled the glasses up three quarters of the way up. His eyes sparkled with excitement at my motions. When I had finished pouring he was sneakily pulling the glass closer to him.
I watched his antics out of the corner of my eyes while finally filling up my coffee cup. I took a sip of the steaming hot, black, bitter coffee. Ahhh the bitter tears of the gods. I sighed and the stress that was built up in my shoulders melted. I sat down next to Soren as he was finally about to drink the juice.
"Go ahead." I chuckled softly, "It may not be much, but here's breakfast. That's not right it's already 12:26... so I guess it's brunch, huh." I contemplated for a moment. Soren looked at me with confusion evident in his lilac eyes.
"Brunch is like... I guess it's just breakfast food for lunch. At least I think that's what it is. Anyway, go ahead and eat, or it's going to get cold for a second time."
With no other prompting we began to eat.
