As soon as Caleb left for work, Preston grabbed his phone and called Annabel.
The moment she picked up, he couldn't hold back his excitement. "Anna!"
"Oh my God!" Annabel shrieked on the other end. "Tell me everything!"
Preston giggled. "It was perfect.
Everything went perfectly. Caleb loved the pant you got me. And, girl…" he trailed off with a dreamy sigh.
"Ah! Spill! Did he—"
"Yes!" Preston cut in. "And he loved it. Every second of it. Anna, I'm so happy. He loves me just as much as I love him."
Annabel squealed. "I told you! And you were over there worrying about nothing. Look at you now, all loved-up."
Preston laughed. "Yeah, yeah. But seriously, thank you. That pant… and those videos… they really helped. In fact, you have to take me to where you bought it because I need more."
Annabel gasped. "Oh-ho! Look at you, already planning more surprises."
Preston grinned. "I want to get more for role-playing. Maybe some sexier ones."
Annabel laughed. "Caleb's never going to know what hit him."
Preston sighed, feeling warmth bloom in his chest. "Anna, I just… I'm so happy. It feels like a dream."
She softened. "You deserve this, Preston. What's not to love about you?
I'm really happy for you."
Their conversation turned emotional, both of them basking in Preston's newfound happiness. Then, Caleb's name flashed on Preston's screen. He gasped. "Talk of the devil."
Annabel giggled. "Go talk to your man. We'll meet up soon."
Preston switched over to the call. "Hey, baby. Miss me already?"
Caleb's deep chuckle sent shivers down his spine. "Of course. What are you doing?"
"Talking to Annabel."
Caleb hummed. "Did you eat?"
Preston pouted. "Not yet."
"I figured. I ordered lunch for you. It should be there soon. Eat, and don't forget your driving lesson later."
Preston melted at his thoughtfulness. "You're the best."
"I know," Caleb teased. "Now be good. I'll call you later."
"I miss you."
"I miss you too, baby. Love you."
After ending the call, Preston ate the meal Caleb ordered, then his driving instructor arrived. The lesson went smoothly, though he kept checking his phone, eager for Caleb's messages.
Before he knew it, evening had arrived, and excitement bubbled within him.
He rushed into the bathroom, taking a quick shower before slipping into a short, ripped jean shorts and a transparent singlet. Admiring himself in the mirror, he smirked. "He's going to lose his mind."
When Caleb walked through the door, the sight of Preston stopped him in his tracks. His mouth fell open, eyes darkening. "Baby… what are you wearing?"
Preston giggled. "Do you like it?"
Caleb ran a hand through his hair, stepping closer. "Like it? You're going to drive me crazy."
Preston wrapped his arms around Caleb's neck, pressing against him. "That was the plan."
Caleb groaned. "Well, it's working."
He dropped his bag and pulled Preston in for a kiss. The kiss started soft, teasing, but quickly deepened into something intense and passionate.
Caleb lifted him effortlessly, carrying him to the couch as their lips remained locked. They melted into each other, hands roaming, bodies pressing close, both lost in the hunger of the moment.
By the time they pulled apart, breathless, Caleb rested his forehead against Preston's. "You really are going to be the death of me."
Preston smiled. "But you'd love every second of it."
Caleb chuckled, kissing him again. "I would."
They talked about their day, curled up together, enjoying each other's presence. Caleb finally sat up and smiled. "I brought Chinese takeout. Let's eat."
Preston's stomach growled, making them both laugh. "Good timing."
Caleb took his hand, leading him to the dining table. They ate together, feeding each other bites, stealing kisses in between, completely wrapped up in their love and happiness.
