Abberon looked at him and at me confused about why was the Dragon King candidate doing here in a dungeon and how he knew me referring to me as Young Master, I looked at Helios and understood his intentions I agreed to the match and told Abberon to pay no mind to what he is saying.
He said that he will fight against us with his full strength, and then we began.
I coated my whole body with lightning, and used body strengthening magic to the max, I used haste on Abberon and me and slow on Helios, wielding my Dragon Slayer Sword and Abberon wielding her Dragon Slayer Halberd we go out.
First he used his fangs to measure up our strength, he immediately figured out our cultivation and was pleasantly surprised to see us fighting against him with the cultivation of 5th circle but still not falling into a disadvantage. The speed of the fight had reached an incredible speed even with his massive size and my placing a slow debuff on him. We fought with incredible caution but also aggression in order to defeat him, his strength was stronger than anything we have faced even though Abberon had fought against a 9th circle magician her cultivation was closer to him and she lacked experience in fighting and also she was forced to escape the moment the 9th circle magician tried to kill her as the next generation king of the Demonkind so as a desperate measure he put up a seal on her which was supposed to have completely sealed off her power to around half her strength but she resisted and succeeded to maintain her strength to around a 5th circle magician.
Because of her cultivation technique that quickly raises her strength and lack of actual experience her power was not stable which due to our regular training and killing monsters has raised till the peak of 5th circle and can defeat any 6th circle magician and can fight against a 7th circle magician evenly and me after my training using all of my strength I can almost fight evenly against an 8th circle magician.
After a physical battle we figured out that if this becomes a battle of attrition I used my Fusion spell but instead of just the advanced spells of the 4 basic elements I also merged the grand magic of lightning, dark, light, Dismantling, Dragon Slayer and Space-Time magic which is equivalent to a mid-grade Emperor class spell resulting in such a massive explosion that I had to teleport us to a semi farther location to avoid, although this grade of attack will not affect a Fire Dragon King candidate much it will definitely stop him for long enough for us to attack its underarms.
We instantly teleported to near its underarms and used our Dragon slayer gear to attack its underarms which is coated with its thickest flesh but to our surprise Helios has already recovered and was waiting for our attack. My leg was cut to the point of almost coming off and Abberon had her hand was also almost completely torn. I used Grand Recovery magic and applied recovery potion-large on both of our wounds due to to the harshness of it. Due to complete pain nullification we don't feel the pain of the wound but it is having a terrible reaction with our bodies. After teleporting away and recovering we decide to just go all in for a frontal assault. I used all of my dragon blood to concentrate into my hands and feet due to my heritage being even higher than even Helios, and Abberon turned into her Demonkind form and both of instantly transmit in front of him and hit his head with enough force to wreck a mountain to dust we finally were able to get past his defenses with our speed raised to max. After concussing Helios and making him unconscious we take a breath of fresh air. I put up a Space-Time Barrier on him and reduce the time inside it to just enough for him to be able to breathe.
Abberon and I both broke through to 6th Circle just as we were fighting Helios, i woke up Helios with [Dark Magic- Wake up] and asked him to guard us as we solidify our cultivation. He turned into his human form, bowed and waited there for us to finish our circles.
