In this Forest entrance.
I wonder if monster will really come.
They usually do when you think they dont so Im scared.
I activate Appraisal so Im looking at the thing infront of me and everything has a pop up tag.
"Oh this one is Alchemy Ingredients.Lucky me. This one is edible mushroom.That one is Alchemy Ingredient."
Im only at the entrance and I already found some 50 year old ginseng.
Im almost scared of my power.
But Why is it always Alchemy Ingredients? I often find edible mushroom but Im not really good at cooking mushroom. Or maybe I can make burger patty with mushroom.But still I dont need this much mushroom if it comes to that.
I gotta walk further.
Im fulling Calming grass that is mix in ordinary grass along the way. It is the most basic ingredients for every Pill production so I dont mind digging all those I can see.
Tracing back, I can see patches of earth between green grass land.
I dont feel any sympathy toward the grass since they are useful. Later on, when Young Master begun adventuring, Calming grass is one of the beginer's task he needs to do.
Usually there's a Harming Sheep if Calming herb is present. Since the calming grass is mask by the ordinary grass maybe Harming sheep doesnt like eating it. Well maybe everytime it chew the bitter taste of ordinary grass irked it? If that is why then lucky me.
I remember killing many Harming Sheep to obtain Alchemy ingredients that it turns like I have a personal grudge with them.
I finally find some tasty vegatable, unearth potato and some ginger. I really want to say 'Kudos to you Appraisal'.
Lucky, I found a river to wash up. I remember thinking of making a water filter but the clothes in our pavillion are all dirty. I dont feel safe if I just wash it.
Its better to buy fabric in the market. I hope I can convince Young Master to go. He hates the market cause there's a lot of people there. And beside he is trying not to make enemy out of his relatives so he can go out in the world when he is 16 with a strong and capable build. He is really doing his best.
What the-- Is that Shrimp? Plump and fresh!
Shu Lan is not a fan of fish but she likes Shrimps. Eating it after you saute it in butter and garlic with a bit of Chili powder. Her mouth waters. Though there's no butter for sure and there's no garlic. There's still fresh Shrimp! She can make it as soup base too.
"Im so lucky. Im wondering why I become a poor maid when my Luck is Max level. Maybe the luck is meant for collecting materials and supply. Anyways, alls end that ends well."

"Yes. Its our lucky day." I proudly show him a basket of shrimp.
"I am always looting this place but never did I see a single living creature in that lake. One or two small fish but never an adult size yet now you say there's a basket of shrimp?"
"Young Master, You wouldnt accuse me of stealing again right? I swear I didnt steal this."
"You...You are very lucky."

"I dont have that kind of hobby. I-Im just worried since you've been here for an hour and its near so I check your well being."
"Young Master youre so thoughtful . What do you want to eat? I can cook a lot with this."
"And there's so many other items here. Are you some Lucky Monster?"

"What? A 50 year old ginseng! You, hide this. If my cousin find out, they will steal it from you and even call you theif!"

Bai Huang eyes moist and he turn around to calm himself.

I want to hug him as I see his shoulder shakes. He didnt look at me but I know this is his last attempt to show his strength.
As a maid, I have no right to touch my Master so I just stay there gazing at his back.

Young Master Bai is silent the way home. I cook half of the shrimp and make a soup with the veges and some shrimp. There's still some more shrimp left and Young Master Bai said it is better to put it in a porridge since there's still 3 handful of rice left.
"Young Master, Can I go to the market?"
He looks at me, startled.

"Okay, I will come with you." He said and put his book in the table.
I really want him to go cause I dont know where the market is located.
I am thinking how I can make him accompany me yet he offers himself to me?
Maybe he become soft hearted because of our heart to heart conversation in the forest.
"What will you do in the market?" he asks.
"Selling some herb." If I suddenly use a gold coin in the market, I feel like Im straight to prison.
"You will sell the 50 year old ginseng? Good Idea." he nods. His face is a bit delighted. He is really scared it will be stolen from me.
"No. That is for Young Master Bai's future. I am thinking of selling Calming grass."
"Calming grass? Are you okay?" He grabs me and inspect me.
He saw the bruises in my left arm.
"You shouldnt have try outsmarting a Harming Sheep!" he roared in anger, his hand is trembling.
"Im...Im fine Young Master. I didnt encounter Harming Sheep. Im really lucky."
"Then, this.."
"Auntie...I mean Young Miss Bai(Previously I put Ling.) maid did this. She is disciplining me cause Im late to wake up." --Actually that bitch is super S! Just because Im late at waking up she hits me with a stick.
"That woman!" his eyes squint a bit.
He really is handsome.
Even if his expression is ugly.

What scares me is he is really capable of that later on. Auntie, I pray he forgot this promise. I feel like I will become accomplice to the crime.
"How many Calming grass do you have?" he then change the gloomy topic and ask.
"I have one bag."
"Im sorry I didnt hear you, how many?"
"....Young Master, Im serious. Its one bag."
