Chapter 60 - Blazers Recruitment

Few minutes passed

'Hmm...? Why isn't the dragon talking? She should have said something normally. Oh...' It was at that moment he realised something that he had forgotten.

'Hmm? AH, YOU FINALLY UNBLOCKED ME! DAMN YOU! Blocking me would have been fine, but you blocked me for this long? THAT'S SO CRUEL!' Gia was speaking like she was very angry when she wasn't. It was just like an act, even though she knew that Eason would realise the truth about it.

'Don't annoy me in unnecessary situations then.' Eason rebutted.

'W-what? How dare you?!' Gia then got silent.

'...' Eason didn't respond.

'Oh, well. Tell me about what's going on . It seems there is one person in front of you. Are you waiting for something? Hmm, there are too many people below. It also seems like we're on a higher floor of a building. So, what's so special about those four people who seems to be like interviewers?' Gia tilted her head slightly as she pondered.

'Just observe.'

Eason didn't have to wait long. The door slided open.

'Come in.' Eason heard a soft voice. He entered the room.

Inside the room, what he was various high-tech devices. There was a tea table, avaces placed on shelves, official table, training room space, free shelves etc. He saw a table upfront. A young man was sitting in front of it. Genetically, an avascian man woud stop aging at 21, whereas it's 18 for an avascian woman.

From the information he collected, he knew who this was. His name was Dalor, a avascian whose avasci was Aqua. Usually, people would have their avasci named similarly at initial grades. That's because, the avasci is same for those people. It will only tend to change later on because avasci can't be unique at the initial stages.

He looked around and saw a woman sitting on a shelf like structure. Her name was Romia, a avascian. Her avasci was Sword Wave.

He then saw someone playing games in a corner. This person was Karim, yet another avascian whose avasci was Flame Whip.

Meanwhile, another entity was serving tea to Karim. Her name was Sia, an avascian. Her avasci was Asychronous Voice. Sia was the one who called Eason over.

"All right, tell me about why you wanted to join our team." Spoke Dalor.

"I just joined the campus yesterday. I went into the library yearerday for the sake of knowing stuff. Today, I came here to join an avascian team. This seemed like the most suitable team that was recruiting, thus I came here." He spoke while looking over at other members of the team.

Dalor's eyes twitched as he checked the device besides him. He saw that it showed no sign.

Eason looked over at the device Dalor was checking.

'A yellow grade lie detector, hmph! The barrier around this building makes sure no one above orange grade enters the building unless that entity had permission. It seems, it was an indigo grade barrier. Unless the infiltrator has green grade prowess, it's hard to neglect this lie detector avaces.' Eason's eyes sparkled as he had this thought.

'Hmph, so boring and such weak entities. Atleast you're interesting or else I would've died out of boredom.' Spoke Gia proudly

"All right, tell me how you could be useful to us then."

"Useful, hah? My avasci is explosive strike...I guess which is quite useless. My merit comes out of my own talent, not the racial talent. I can detect troubles, traps or more specfically flaws unless the enemy is a flawless enemy, which is impossible as that means, the target is violet grade." Eason spoke nonchalantly as if his talent wasn't a unique thing.

This comment attracted the stares of the other four entities upon him.

"Talent...hah?" Spoke Dalor while inwardly he was shouting at himself as he found out that, this kid was in fact not lying.

'DAMMN IT! A TALENT AVASCIAN!' Dalor continued

"All right, then. Prove it to me." He then laid back on his chair.

Eason tilted his head slightly. He looked over at the shelve upon which Romia was sitting on. He stretched his hand towards the shelve. Romia's eyes glittered as she jumped away from the shelve.

Bluish Black Avasci sparks went over from his hand onto the shelve. At first, nothing happened. Then, creaking sounds were heard as they came from the shelve itself.

Under everyone's view, the shelve slowly disformedas piece of material started stretching outward. Eventually, the shelve lost balance as it fell over onto the floor.

But that didn't end it. That was because, eveyone saw shelve eventually disforming into such a state that it in fact split into various fragments until it became invisible.

Sia released a noise from her mouth as she used her avasci. Both her eyebrows were raised as she discovered something astonishing. She gulped as she looked over at this so called newbie.

"The shelve's fragments are still disintegrating. You just can't see it as they are too small. We can have him on our team, he will be very useful later on. We just need to train him in case he has some problems when it comes to cooperation." Spoke Sia

Dalor nodded as he looked over at Eason.

"We're fine with having you on our team but we don't know whether you can integrate with our team. So, after seeing how you behave yourself, we can then finalise the decision. Any issues?"

"Yes, I do have an issue. I need you to add the next person in queue to your team. She's very reliable. We just can't be separated due to...some reasons." He then looked over at the lie detector.

Dalor understood the hidden meaning. He nodded and allowed the next person to come into the room.

Anna then walked into the room. She looked around just like how Eason did at the beginning.

Dalor then stated his intention to Anna. Anna didn't back out as she showed her prowess via her brute force.
