The next day
Darwin woke up as his alarm rang . He tried to open his eyes slowly which he did. He then looked around and understood that everything he saw was in dark shade. He then pulled out his hands underneath the blanket. He then said
"ON" . Without a delay he then clapped twice.
As if they was waiting to hear the claps , the lights were switched on in every room . He then closed his eyes upon having seen the light but slowly adapted and opened his eyes slowly and completely .
He looked around and thought about what he has to do next . He then freshened up and got ready to do his daily duty.
Few hours later
Darwin entered a hall room . In the hall , he saw around 100 people. He walked towards a desk on the platform built higher enough to look over all the people present in the hall and stood before it.
That's right , he's doing his daily duty as an instructor and the people in this room are the students training at the institute . It's not that he couldn't avoid this but he was just curious to see how the institute functioned from a first person perspective .
Darwin looked over at the badge attached on his chest . This badge was not just an ordinary badge to signify his position at the institute . It's also an indigo grade avaces to conceal his avascian power perfectly along with his A-rank fitness and just showed that he's a B-rank fighter. He had to put it on 1 hour before it could activate it's effect so that he could adapt to his B-rank fitness.
He looked around at the people and nodded.
" So, how was your weekend ? Did you enjoy your weekend or did practice ?"
Most of them said yes , others either didn't or was just lazy to say it . Darwin then looked around and saw Asasi . He only looked at her for a moment . He then shifted his eyesight onto everyone else . He then said some jokes to lighten the mood in the class. Everyone laughed hearing the jokes.
He then searched around underneath the desk and found a device . He then placed the device on the side of the desk .
"All right . Come up as per your roll number in this classroom and measure your talent strength . Ah yes , Dain and Sora ,write it down, will you?" Dain and Sora was class leaders for the boys and girls side. This was a usual thing for them to do this for instructor Darwin. As his avasci devoured Darwin with the help of his cape , he managed to retain the memories of Darwin . It would have been impossible if not for his gear . After all his avasci is about destruction , atleast that's what he can do atmost currently under the observation of Higher Races.
The students then walked over and had their talent strength measured. Eason was very satisfied seeing the results . He wished he had studied at this institute . Of course, there are definitely other good institutes but this is definitely one of the best institutes . It's just , the institutes above this are the 7 Great Institutes of Gremory Land . They're usually more focused on training avascians but that doesn't mean they will neglect training fighters.
He then initiated individual spars followed by group spars that was focused on achieving inputting code ontothe enviroter. This was just like back in his school.
The only difference is that , in addition to these spars,there was virtual projection spars for students . They can test their abilities virtually but it's more effective in real world world. Then instructors also gets to instruct students in a much better manner.
He even personally sparred with few students . The students are yet to become C-rank fighters. The institute just trains fighters until they've decided on various factors whether the students are decent fighters after reaching D-rank . Becoming C-rank fighter automatically allows them to graduate . Although there are many C-rank fighters that gets to graduate in that manner, it's still just too much of a strict condition .
Only the 7 great Institutes has set such a condition . If it's determined they can never become C-rank fighters , they won't be allowed to graduate . But they do get a certificate for studying in the institute . In fact ,every institute does this . But if there is luck , the non graduated fighters in 7 great institutes can also be taken as assistants for avascians but it is rare as those spots are reserved for the graduates.
He then looked over at his watch . It was about to become 12:00 . The period will soon be over . He couldn't help but be excited toward his plan but at the same time he was also guilty but he had no choice but to do this .
' Survival is the most important for me from my perspective . For the sake of survival I'm willing to do anything .' He soon calmed down his emotions and waited . He then heard the sound he was waiting to hear . It was the alarm that alerted everyone about lunch time and the period was over .
Darwin nodded and called over the class leaders. He then confirmed the fact that they will place the IDM in which they noted down the attendance after today's class onto the Darwin's desk later on. After all there are more classes for attendance to be noted down. He then took the IDM from them and placed it underneath the desk so that the professors for next class can use it to take down the attendance . In his class, he should have been the one to do it but he let the class leaders do it after giving the permission.
Darwin then walked out of the class . He then walked onwards to the office room of principal . He knocked on the door . He waited for few moments and was soon given the permission to step into the office room . He then took out a leave of letter and placed it in on the desk.
"Sir I want to take a leave for rest of the day . I'll be meeting with a woman who my parents reccomended to me . This is very important to me. I also want to make some preparations before that." The principal looked over at me for few moments and nodded . He then wished me all the best . I thanked him in return.
I then walked out of the office . Few minutes later I walked into the Avascian Block. I smirked .
