Synopsis
Genetics, Lineage, Pedigree; these made up the basis of one's Magus Potential. Families like the Credo, Monos, and Deus lead the world from the unsightly darkness of Yore. Families are the criterion in judging a person's Magus Potential. No Bullshit about "Everyone has potential." listed here. No, this world is the game of who's family is greater and who has the right in the seat of power. Nothing is true in this world, Of course. For what is truth but a reality that you, yourself perceive as Fact? ---- "It all started from a Calamity will it end with another Calamity?" After all If Arkeos wills it we all fall into Arkeos's hands for we all are just pieces in a game of life. --- Book cover will be out by **/**/20 Better safe than sorry! I put this on the no under 17 just in case something NSFW happens in the future chapters! Update schedule will be random but more frequent around the first Friday of the month and the last day of said month.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: A Fleeting Memory

Screaming.

It was all I could hear as I passed the City's downtown district. Ice, Gale, Thunder I couldn't really make heads or tails anymore. As I walk towards the mall, well what's left of it. How did this happen? Why are they all in pain? Why am I ignoring them?

I bite the inside of my cheek as I passed over a corpse, a woman no older than I am, or was it "was"? I don't know, It feels like ages since I saw or heard another person, a Live one that is.

A few more steps and I found a child whose hair was of Luna itself with half-lid eyes of the once Azure sky steadily breathing, clinging to life, wanting to live. The Child's hand outstretched towards the sky as if reaching out for something, for someone.

It's small hand reaching out to the vast sky, struggling to hold it up. I grabbed it and held the child close. The child was warm. Warm as the first rays of the Sunrise. The longer I held the Child, the more I return to this world. A form I had long abandoned.

A Mother.
